Life hasn’t always been this sweet for supermodel and TV host Tyra Banks.

Banks recently revealed to the media that she was a victim of bullying in her younger days.  She was bullied for being too skinny when she was just 11 years old.

The supermodel said she suffered emotionally after people started calling her names. The bullying took its toll on her self-confidence to the point when she hated looking at herself in the mirror. Banks said there were times when she  tried to stuff food down her throat. But eventually, she put on some weight when she grew older and was even too “heavy” to model at 17.

Banks promotes healthy eating and supports Vogue’s ban on “too skinny” models.

Way to go, Tyra!

Emma Stone Still Struggles with Her “Movie Star” Status

There is no doubt that 23-year-old actress Emma Stone is one of the fastest rising stars in Hollywood today.

After starring in a few films, Stone is now starring as the paramour of Spiderman in the newest Spiderman film that is set to be released soon. In a recent interview with Vogue in the United States, Stone revealed she is still adjusting to her status as a “movie star.”

Wearing a Jil Sander knit dress, Stone admitted she is enjoying her fame in the glittering world of Hollywood. Stone also revealed that she feels strange that so many people recognize her and that the media is constantly interviewing her.

Despite the pressures of Hollywood, Stone said she is very happy with her career, and she hopes to have plenty more work in the future. If Stone continues to improve her craft, there is no reason she wouldn’t end up as a Hollywood superstar.

Adele’s Vogue Magazine Cover is Not Selling Well

She might be one of the biggest singers in the world today, but, sadly, Adele is not that popular with the millions of Vogue readers.

According to reports, the copy of Vogue magazine featuring Adele on the cover is not selling well. Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman revealed the not-so-great news to the world through the company’s U.K. website at vogue.co.uk. Shulman said they discovered that music stars are not very popular among their typically fashion-oriented readers.

She said they initially thought Adele’s magazine cover would be a sure hit with their readers, but they were wrong. Adele’s Vogue cover might not be a success, but to her fans she remains a tremendous singer.
