Katie Holmes Meets Russia in Harper’s Bazaar

Katie Holmes just keeps looking better and better!

Recently, Harper’s Bazaar Russia published its October 2012 issue starring the one and only Katie Holmes on its cover!

In the photos taken by famous photographer Gilles Bensimon, 33-year-old Katie wore her chestnut hair in gorgeous waves with a theatrical, smokey-eye makeup and a lipstick tone that made her lips sexier. For the mag, the Holmes and Yang designer wore Versace, Dolce&Gabbana, Michael Kors, and Moschino.

Last month, the single mother finalized her divorce with ex-husband Tom Cruise. Up next, she is set to rehearse for her first Broadway show in four years, “Dead Accounts.” Meanwhile, her daughter, Suri, 6, started going to school last week. A friend of Katie spills:

“It’s like Katie got out of prison. Rebuilding her life. . . this is a rebirth!”

Lawyer: Tom Cruise is a Devoted Father to Suri

The lawyer of Hollywood A-lister Tom Cruise has defended his client from the accusations that he’s not a good father for his failure to see his daughter Suri, 6, during the past 50 days.

Bert Fields said Tom Cruise remains a devoted father to his six-year-old daughter despite his tight schedule. Fields said while the actor can’t be with Suri, he makes it a point to talk to her twice a day.

Cruise and his ex-wife, Katie Holmes, 33, finalized their divorce earlier this year.

Fields said his client loves his daughter so much. It’s just that he’s busy with filming at the moment. Moreover, the lawyer said Cruise always spends quality time with his daughter when his schedule permits.

We do believe that!

Suri Cruise is an official (private) school girl!

The past week was not just any week for the daughter of ex-couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. It was her first week at her new exclusive private school! And to celebrate another milestone, she had a date with her mom!

The 6-year-old celebrity child went out with her mom to Alice’s Tea Cup for some yummy treats and toys. And of course, her mommy had something to celebrate as well! Last Wednesday, Katie Holmes and her longtime fashion partner & stylist Jeanne Yang debuted their spring 2013 collection for their Holmes & Yang collection during the New York Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

 Sounds like something worth celebrating, indeed!

Suri Cruise Arrives for First Day of School

Summer is kinda over, and surely Suri Cruise is not exempted from some reading, writing, and counting.

The daughter of ex-couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes was seen on the way to her new school for the first day of classes at Avenues, a rather sophisticated private institution in the Chelsea district of New York City.

The toddler arrived with her mommy in a cardigan and a white shirt. Her outfit was accessorized with a pink hair bow, which looked really well with her cheetah-print backpack.

Well, what can we say? It’s Suri Cruise, after all. Nothing but the best for the Princess of New York, eh?

Katie Holmes Makes First Public Appearance after Divorce

Katie Holmes is single and surely ready to mingle!

The actress and single mother, 33, formally made her first public appearance post-divorce on Wednesday night for the Style Awards in New York City. She stunned the crowd wearing a champagne-colored skirt and a sophisticated black blouse. She presented the Designer of the Year award to Carolina Herrera on stage.

This Sunday, Holmes and her longtime stylist, Jeanne Yang, will make their New York Fashion Week debut for their clothing line, Holmes & Yang. Added to this new achievement, Tom Cruises’s ex has just been named as the first celebrity face of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.

Oh, we could only imagine how proud Suri must be!
