Sheryl Crow Seeks Restraining Order Against ‘Delusional Fan’

American country singing superstar Sheryl Crow has asked the court to issue a restraining order against a ‘disturbed’ fan who threatened to shoot her.

Crow, 50, filed a TRO against Phillip Gordon Sparks, who reportedly relayed to an employee at the Screen Actor’s Guild office that he is going to shoot the singer. The singer said the court need to issue TRO as soon as possible to protect her from the threat of her male fan.

Sources said aside from herself, the singer also sought protection for 16 people closest to her heart, including her two sons, five-year-old Wyatt and two-year-old Levi, as well as her siblings, parents, assistant, and manager.

According to reports, the judge handling the case is set to issue the ruling on the TRO soon.

Cox and Crow recently bumped into each other in Los Angeles, and the former Friends star did not hesitate to offer her support and concern to her friend, who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. Crow, 50, was very happy with the gesture from her friend and  assured her that she is doing well, despite her medical condition.

In earlier interviews, Crow said her medical condition is not something to worry about since she is doing fine, and she remains very confident that she can get through this ordeal. The singer said she is very happy with the deep love shown by her family, friends, and fans after the announcement of her medical condition.
