Adele Once Suffered from a Drinking Problem

One of the top professional singers today once experienced a personal demon that greatly affected her personal life and career.

According to a biographer, Adele once had a drinking problem that affected the concert performances of the 24-year-old British singer. Biographer Marc Shapiro, who penned the unofficial book, Adele: The Biography, that chronicles the singer/songwriter’s childhood in North London as the daughter of a single mother, said the drinking problem was bad enough that the singer would forget the lines she was supposed to be singing during concerts.

The much-awaited book is set to be released worldwide on July 17. Shapiro said the singer’s father is an alcoholic. He also portrays Adele’s life as a rags to riches story with the star starting with nothing before becoming a famous singer.

The biographer also said that much like her songs, Adele has experienced many failed love affairs. To all the Adele fans around the globe, do not miss the chance to learn more about your idol by buying the book when it hits shelves soon.

Lady Gaga in Hot Water Over Thailand Concert

American superstar Lady Gaga is now in hot water after officials in Thailand complained that she disrespected their flag during a recent concert in the country’s capital, Bangkok.

Thailand’s Culture Ministry said that many Thais were unhappy and angry that Lady Gaga wore a traditional Thai headdress with a bikini and sat on a motorcycle with a Thai flag tied to it. The ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Somchai Seanglai, said they already submitted complaints about Gaga’s concert to the Thai police. Somchai said that despite the complaints, they have no intention of formally filing a criminal case against the pop diva.

It has already been reported that Gaga’s recent Asian concert tour has faced many controversies. Gaga’s Indonesian concert was even scrapped after Muslim hard-liners complained about it and threatened the star. The moral lesson of this story is always respect the customs and traditions of other countries, regardless of your status as a celebrity.

The rumors are correct!

After some speculation, it was finally officially confirmed that American singer Nicole Scherzinger is the newest judge of The X Factor in the United Kingdom. Peter Fincham, Director of Television at ITV, said the 33-year-old singer is the newest judge of the show that is watched by millions of Britons.

Scherzinger expressed joy and excitement over her new role as an X Factor U.K.  judge. It will be the second time for the singer to serve as a judge for The X Factor. Her first was a stint on The X Factor in the United States. This earlier debut as a judge was cut short when her X Factor boss, Simon Cowell, decided to ax her from the show.

Fans of The X Factor in the U.K. are already very excited to see Scherzinger as a judge on one of their favorite television shows. We wish Scherzinger all the best in her new role as an X Factor U.K. judge.

The six-year feud between the Queen of Talk, Oprah Winfrey, and the American rapper, 50 cent, is now officially over.

50 Cent recently guested on Winfrey’s talk show, and the 36-year-old rapper shared an intimate chat with Winfrey. The feud originally started six years ago when 50 cent said he did not care about Oprah’s show because its audience was his parent’s audience.

Winfrey was badly hurt by his statement, and that led to their feud. However, after six long years, the wounds have apparently healed, and the two decided to talk on camera via Winfrey’s talk show.

On the show, the two were very respectful towards each other, opening the door to the possibility of them growing even closer. Reconciliation is always something to cheer about, even for feuding celebrities in Hollywood.

Former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole revealed that she skips eating pasta when she gets invited to red carpet events in order to look sexy and gorgeous for the occasion. Cole, who recently attended the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in France, said she also eats less in order to keep her sexy figure at all times.

Cole makes it a point to choose the right clothes to wear for every event she attends. The famous British singer also makes it a point to remove her makeup before sleeping so that her skin will look whiter and fresher at all times. Cole regularly dances to keep her body sexy and beautiful. 

The singer is popping up in headlines lately, as she is reportedly being eyed as the next new judge for American Idol next season.
