Nicole Richie and bestie Samantha Ronson were photographed enjoying some pool time in Mexico today. The two friends have vacationed in Mexico in the past celebrating Nicole’s birthday and it looks like they are continuing their traditions.
For some reason Nicole Richie decided to take time out of her super-busy schedule to weigh in on Charlie Sheen’s sobriety. Which makes total sense, because she’s obviously an authority on substance abuse.
“I don’t think he should make it somebody else’s responsibility to keep him sober,” she argued.
Referencing Sheen’s recent radio interview with the Dan Patrick Show, Richie claimed the actor’s “message was a little like, ‘You guys better give me something to do.’”
“If he wants [his sobriety] to last for a long time, it’s up to him,” she pointed out. “He’s an adult and he needs to take responsibility for his actions.”
