Kim Kardashian Gives Nicole Richie a Sweet Reminder

Have you experienced having a hard time deciding what to give to a friend because she seems to have everything? Well, if yes, you are on the same boat as Kim Kardashian.

So, guess what the reality star did for her friend Nicole Richie who celebrated her 31st birthday over the weekend? She gave her a blast from the past! Kim took to her website to show a tad bit embarrassing photo of them and some pals during Richie’s birthday celebration in 1995. She shared, along with the adorable photo:

“Happy birthday to my friend Nicole Richie. Many of you may not know that we’ve known each other for many years. I found this pic of us at Nicole’s 14th birthday party! Awww, the memories.”

She added:

“Happy birthday Nikki! Xo.”

The birthday girl hasn’t commented on that lovely gift yet, but she did tweet to thank everyone for greeting her on her special day.

“THANK YOU for all the birthday wishes!! I feel so much wiser. Oh 30-year-olds, they’re so silly . . .”


Nicole Richie’s Birthday Wish: To Be a Perfect Mother!

Seems like Nicole Richie’s a bad girl gone good!

For the September issue of DuJour magazine, the 30-year-old mother of two kids opened up about her childhood and some of the difficulties she faced growing up.  She shared:

“One of the biggest differences in the way I’m raising my kids versus the way I was raised is that I was on tour a lot. I don’t really do that with my kids. It’s important to me that they have stability. I like them to be home.”

Being an adopted child, she was raised by famous singer Lionel Richie and his then-wife, Brenda. Nicole recalled:

“I was taken out of school and had tutors. By the time my father went onstage, I was asleep.”

Although she made a lot of bad decisions growing up, the fashion designer doesn’t blame her parents for it.

“There’s no right or wrong way to raise a family. Look, I don’t know anyone who can say they don’t just try and do the best that they can do.”
