The Party’s Over: LMFAO Split After 6 Years

Indeed, there are no permanent partnerships in the entertainment world today.

After six years, the LMFAO duo of Stefan Gordy, 37, (a.k.a. Redfoo) and Skyler Gordy, 26, (a.k.a. Sky Blu) have decided to end their musical partnership. LMFAO said they are both sad about their decision to split, but felt they had to move on to pursue separate musical careers.

Despite their split-up, the uncle and nephew remain as a family and friend to each other. Sources said now that the two have decided to go their separate ways, chances are they will each pursue a career as a solo artist.

Stefan Gordy is the son of famed American record producer Berry Gordy, Jr., who founded the Motown record label. Skyler is Berry’s grandson.

The electropop duo got together in 2006 and churned hits like “Party Rock Anthem,” “Champagne Showers,” “Sexy and I Know It,” and “Sorry for Party Rocking.” “Party Rock Anthem” even peaked at number one in over 10 countries.

Britney Spears Settles Lawsuit with Former Bodyguard

Looks like Britney Spears isn’t letting a lawsuit get in her way!

The pop princess has already settled her case with her ex-bodyguard, who claims that she sexually harassed him and was very abusive towards her children.

Details on how Britney’s team dealt with the bodyguard Fernando Flores were not announced or talked about. Nor was there any immediate statements from both parties. But at least, it’s all good now. It’s been two years, after all.

In the lawsuit, the bodyguard claimed that the pop star always “flashed” her private parts at him, specifying an incident wherein she allegedly bent over while wearing a white, see-through dress. He also accused Spears of being a negligent mother to her two children, even saying that she made the boys Sean and Jayden eat until they vomited and then hit them with a belt.

Spears has yet to comment on the said issue.

Chris Brown Denies Allegations About His Tattoo

Looks like he’s got no more explaining to do!

A lot of people were pretty confused on Tuesday after a pic of Chris Brown’s new tattoo surfaced. The tattoo looked like, at first glance, an image of his battered ex-gf or a battered female.

Right after hearing the allegations, the 23-year-old singer’s rep quickly denied that the body art was inspired by Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, or any battered woman.

To answer the issue, Brown tweeted:

“I’m an artist and this is art. Dia de los Muertos.

The “Don’t Wanna Go Home” singer was referring to the Mexican Day of the Dead, which is usually celebrated on the 1st of November. The tattoo is instead a sugar skull and was inspired by “a MAC cosmetics design he saw.”

The ex-couple, who had a controversial break up in 2009, publicly kissed during last week’s MTV Video Music Awards.

Rihanna Trims Her Hair Super Short

Looks like short, very short hair’s the new thing these days!

After Kellie Pickler shaved her head off this week, the We Found Love singer revealed her rather longer version of Pickler’s hair as she headed out of her last-minute rehearsals for the VMAs.

Well, it’s not really a surprise when Rihanna switches ‘dos; she’s had blonde, red, black, long, short, and everything-in-between hair, but to date, this is the shortest haircut she’s had.

She sported a rather casual look that day, wearing a Céline Paris tee, a choker, and ripped blue jeans, matched with Cleveland Cavalier-edition Air Jordans.

Well, whatever her ‘do is, for sure her fans still love her!

Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne Talk About Their Engagement

Looks like Avril Lavigne’s fans were not the only people surprised about the singer’s engagement!

Music fans weren’t the only ones surprised by Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne‘s recent engagement. The couple is on the September 10 cover of Hello! Canada. Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, 37, shared that his parents did not meet the Happy Ending rocker until after he popped the question. He explained:

“You never know what your parents are going to say when you tell them you’re getting married — especially when it’s with someone they haven’t met yet! My mom is a huge fan of Avril’s, so putting her on the speaker phone and telling her the news was hilarious and equally embarrassing.”

Added a happy Lavigne, 27:

“Everyone is super stoked for us. The reaction from our friends and family has been awesome!”

Wow, Avril is surely excited to get in that white dress! Congrats!
