Madonna Won’t Be Kissing Britney and X-Tina!

So the Internet has been buzzing with the news that Madonna will once again lock lips with Britney Spears and X-Tina Aguilera like they did way back in their MTV Video Music Awards in 2003. The Hollywood Reporter reported:

“According to the Twitter feed for the singer’s latest album, MDNA, Aguilera will appear at Madonna’s concerts in Los Angeles on Oct. 10 and 11 for a ‘special performance,’ while Spears will ‘attend’ the show on the 10th.”

However, it turns out that the MDNA Twitter account is a ‘fake’ as confirmed by Madonna’s rep, and that the rumors are just, well, rumors. Britney Spears and X-Tina Aguilera won’t be joining Madge onstage on her tour in LA. Reps of Britney Spears and X-Tina Aguilera also confirmed that the reunion report is indeed false.

Maybe they should re-think it over. It would be a sold-out show!

Chris Brown, Rihanna, and Drake to See Each Other at the MTV VMA

Looks like we have a lot to look forward to at this year’s MTV VMA!

According to sources, executives of MTV are really keen on making Rihanna, Chris Brown, and Drake attend the Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on September 6. This has something to do with the June 14 incident, where Brown, 23, and Drake, 25, scuffled and brawled because of Rihanna, 24. The source shares:

“Notice Drake and Chris are both up for Best Male Video. They are hoping a fight breaks out. Ratings galore!”

And to make things more awkward, Rihanna made an appearance in Drake’s Take Care video, which is one of the nominated vids for the night.

Oh, and didn’t Rihanna also confess to Oprah that she’s still in love with Chris Brown? Seems like we gotta keep an eye on who punches who first!

MTV Renews Teen TV Show “Awkward” for a Third Season

Things around MTV are bound to be more awkward.

Awkward, a teen-oriented TV series on MTV is set to be up and running for a third season! Not only that, but the network is also planning to make today’s teen’s lives a lot “Awkward-er” by upping the show’s episodes for the season.

MTV has already ordered a 20-episode third season of the said show, which almost doubles the episodes of its first and second seasons. Sounds like more comedy for the show’s avid watchers! David Janollari, the head of MTV programming, released a statement about this:

Creator Lauren Iungerich’s creative vision, coupled with this extraordinarily talented cast, make Awkward the perfect series for MTV. Critics and our audience alike have fallen in love with Awkward, and we’re thrilled to bring this terrific series back for a third, supersized season.

The show’s second season, which premiered in the last week of June, already has an average of 1.8 million viewers, 6 percent higher than that of Season One.

How awkward.

Snooki to Newt Gingrich: “I’m Trying to Be Like You!”

Seems like the Jersey Shore mom-to-be has found a friend in Newt Gingrich!

On July 18, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno together with former presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich. Although the reality star, 24, and the Georgia-native Republican, 69, don’t have so much in common, Gingrich did share that he is familiar with Polizzi’s work. He told her:

I’m very impressed . . . I’ve seen clips of Jersey Shore and I’ve seen some of your interviews. In fact, I saw some interviews when you did your first book. Congratulations on having two New York Times bestsellers.

The mommy-to-be thanked Gingrich and said:

I’m trying to be like you!

 Uh-oh, is Snooki implying that she wants to run for presidency?

Jwoww of Jersey Shore to Film Snooki’s Baby Delivery

Seems like Snooki has finally found somebody to film her as she gives birth!

The pregnant MTV star’s Jersey Shore BFF, Jwoww, announces that she’ll be in Snooki’s delivery room recording the whole giving birth thing from beginning to end! She shares:

She wants me to record it. I’m going to set up a tripod, right there, zooming in.

Say what, zooming in?!

She adds:

Listen, I’ve seen that girl bent over so many ways. Sideways, I’ve slept by her, there’s nothing that can happen with that girl that won’t surprise me.

Although, Jersey Shore fans won’t be getting a glimpse of the delivery room footage on TV because mommy Snooki wants to keep the video private! Awww, too bad.
