Twitter War: Lady Gaga vs. Calvin Harris

Believe us when we say don’t mess with the Gaga.

On BBC Breakfast, DJ Calvin Harris shared that he allegedly “turned down” an offer to work with Lady Gaga on her new music. However, according to the agitated Mother Monster, she never even contacted Calvin in the first place. She tweeted:

“Never even emailed you @calvinharris. I guess it’s hard to believe I write + produce my music. cuz I’m a woman I don’t know about EDM right?”

She added:

“Seems to be trendy lately to talk s–t about ‘lady gaga’ when your albums/singles drop. Y’all should live off your own hustle. #Ido.”

Well, good enough, the DJ responded in his best intention to calm the Gaga down.

“@ladygaga no your label emailed me. I always make sure I say I’m a fan when asked about it, I apologise if I offended u, wasn’t the intention.”

Well, if he had any strategy to calm the raging Mother Monster, it worked. She tweeted back:

“@CalvinHarris thanks for the apology &explaining. My apologies too. Congratulations on your album. Wish you well. Cheers.”

Whew! We thought that was gonna go even further than that!

Lady Gaga Didn’t Miss a Beat: Vomit, Dance, Vomit at Barcelona Concert

First Bieber, now Gaga… is this the newest concert ritual for pop stars?

When Lady Gaga hit the stage for her recent concert in Barcelona, Spain, she was reportedly battling a bad case of the flu. But the singer didn’t let that stop her from getting on stage and giving her all as she performed her set flawlessly.

Unfortunately, Gaga’s illness got the best of her and she ended up vomiting—not just once, but thrice—in the middle of performing her hit song, “Edge of Glory.”

In the middle of her dance routine, Gaga bends over with her back to the audience and starts puking her guts out on stage. Her male dance partner appears concerned for a second as he holds an inquiring hand towards her, but Gaga immediately straightens up and starts dancing.

Moments later, Gaga repeats the process: bend over, vomit, and then dance some more.

The singer, who did not miss a beat despite the repeated puking, hurled one last time before bouncing off to the other side of the stage to continue her performance.

Right after the vomit-filled show, Gaga tweeted a link to a video of the incident. She wrote:

“Was praying nobody saw but actually its quite a good laugh if u need one! Check out Lady PukeGA doing Swan “Vomit” Lake”

Kudos to Mother Monster for not missing a single dance step!

Little Monsters Join Lady Gaga’s Body Revolution

Folks, here’s a side of Lady Gaga you might have not seen before.

The “Born This Way” singer, 26, began a “body revolution” by putting up on the Web some unedited photos of herself in her underwear. Since she did, her fans, often referred to as “little monsters,” have done so as well. She shared:

“I have been startled and overwhelmed with pride and emotion the past few days. Gratitude mostly. Seeing you post photos of things on your bodies and in your minds that you feel society tells you you should be ashamed of. You are showing them you have no shame. Watching you all create a safe space online for people to be compassionate is the greatest gift you could ever give me.”

Gaga started her “revolution: when she posted a photo of her in a yellow lingerie, saying:

“[I've battled] bulimia and anorexia since I was 15.”

Well, Gaga is a trendsetter, indeed!

Not Born This Way: Lady Gaga to Drink Green Juice

Lady Gaga hits Paris, France, but it looks like she’ll need to swerve from those sweet shops!

The singer, 26, covered up in a tight, leopard-print outfit, tall platform boots, and black tights with her new do fixed the Parisian way. The pop star revealed that it is indeed true that she has gained not-so-few pounds. The “Born This Way” songstress revealed:

“I’m dieting right now, because I gained, like, 25 pounds. And you know I really don’t feel bad about it, not even for a second. I have to be on such a strict diet constantly. It’s hard because it’s a quite vigorous show, so I tend to bulk up, get muscular, and I really don’t like that. So I’m trying to find a new balance.”

Gaga is now blaming her father, Joe Germanotta, who has recently opened an Italian restaurant in NYC, for the unexpected weight gain. She shared:

“I love eating pasta and pizza. I’m a New York Italian girl. That’s why I have been staying out of New York. My father opened a restaurant. It’s so amazing . . . it’s so freaking delicious, but I’m telling you I gain five pounds every time I go in there. So my dad wants me to eat at the restaurant, and I’m, like, I’ve got to go where I can drink green juice.”

To Lady Gaga, With Love, from Madonna

Looks like Madonna’s got no hate for Gaga!

The iconic singer, 54, dedicated her song “Masterpiece” to Lady Gaga, 26, at her concert in Atlantic City, saying that she’d like to do a collab with her. To the crowd, she said:

“You wanna know something? I love her. I love her. I do love her. Imitation is the highest form of flattery.”

She added:

“One day, very soon, we’re going to be on stage together. Just you wait. You think I’m kidding? I love Lady Gaga.”

It can be remembered that in January 2012, Madonna talked about Gaga’s song “Born This Way” and how similar it is to her 1989 song, “Express Yourself.” She explained:

“I thought, this is a wonderful way to redo my song. I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was . . . interesting.”

Well, looks like there’s no feud between the two singers, after all!
