Has Keira Knightley found a new career?

Just last week, the actress was spotted playing guitar and singing with the band at the streets of New York City. Is Keira broke and in need of some lose change?

Oh, of course not! The British actress was just shooting for her latest film Can A Song Save Your Life? in which Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green also co-star. The engaged actress showed off some guitar skills that I guess most of us didn’t know she had.

Lucky passersby along Washington Square Park were granted the rare opportunity to listen to the actress’s guitar riffs.

In the movie, Keira is Adam Levine’s girlfriend, and the two are determined but struggling musicians who risk living in the Big Apple to realize her dreams of being famous.

Oh, this spoiler just got fans extra excited!

James Righton a “Lovestruck Puppy” When Around Keira Knightley

Keira Knightley’s got herself a keeper.

Though the actress, 27, might have been initially into her boyfriend James Righton’s bad-boy rock star appeal, she surely brought out the softer side of the 28-year-old Klaxons keyboardist. According to a friend of the two, James “can turn into this lovestruck puppy” when he’s around Keira.

Early in May, the two announced their engagement. Reportedly, Righton’s proposal was a result of a full-on convincing of his guy friends, thinking that if he didn’t, Knightley might slip off watch. Says a close friend of the two:

Honestly, they’re good for each other. They love being engaged.

Before meeting James, Keira dated actor Rupert Friend for around five years, but she confirmed their split-up in December 2010.

The Anna Karenina actress and the rocker’s relationship was first publicized when they were caught kissing in an East London park last April. Reportedly, they were introduced to each other by Alexa Chung, a mutual friend.

We’ll surely hear the wedding bells soon!

Adam Levine Spotted in the Big Apple with New Girl(friend?)

It does seem like Adam Levine has a particular type when it comes to women.

The 33-year-old singer was spotted walking (and holding hands!) with Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo, 23, around the SoHo neighborhood in NYC on July 10. The two have been together since June, but a friend of Levine says that the Nambian beauty and the The Voice judge are taking things slow. The pal spills:

“He’s having fun with her right now. He said he didn’t want to date a model again, but hey, he’s a rock star, so it’s sort of in his blood!”

News of his new relationship came out three months after his ex, 26-year-old supermodel Anne Vyalitsyna, “blindsided” him by calling it quits in a press statement. According to another insider:

“Behati always had a crush on Adam. . . and she was a little jealous of Anne.”

The Maroon 5 frontman is currently in the City that Never Sleeps filming his first movie debut, Can a Song Save Your Life?, with Keira Knightley, 27, Mark Ruffalo, 44, and Hailee Steinfeld, 15.

On July 11, Behati joined fellow Victoria’s Secret models Doutzen Kroes, 27, Erin Heatherton, 23, Arlenis Sosa, 23, and Lindsay Ellingson, 27, for a Soul Cycle ride in the Big Apple to support cancer research. So the two are in the same city then! Coincidence? We don’t think so. The model says:

“I’m taking August off, but I have no idea what I’m going to do or where I’m going to go. I would love to go on holiday at a beach or just swimming in the ocean. I love swimming. I love outdoorsy stuff.”

Adam Levine Posts Full-Bearded Photo on NYC Film Set

Whoa! Is this really Adam Levine?

Normally, The Voice coach is spotted looking nice and clean shaven while scrutinizing aspiring singers on the NBC series, but it looks like the Maroon 5 front man is going for a rather different look for his big screen debut. The full-bearded Levine posted a photo of himself on his Mobli.com account last Tuesday, labeling himself as a “grizzly man.”

Adam already started filming Can a Song Save Your Life with co-stars Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, and Hailee Steinfeld last Monday, and the newbie actor thinks that he’s made a good impression on the NYC set of the film. He tweeted:

 ”Shot my first scene this morning! I think I did well because nobody yelled at me.”

The 33-year-old singer will be Knightley’s on-screen boyfriend in the music-based movie, while fellow The Voice coach Cee Lo Green will star as a famous hip-hop/rap artist. In addition to working on his debut movie, the “Sunday Morning” singer is also on the search for new talent for The Voice’s third season, which will be premiering this fall.

Adam Levine’s new acting stint seems to be suiting him well.

On the set of his upcoming debut movie, Can a Song Save Your Life, the Maroon 5 front man walked along the streets of New York City, giggling and holding hands with co-star Keira Knightley for a scene in the film. The two were also spotted snuggling up to each other as they filmed another scene for Levine’s first big screen appearance as an actor.

The two certainly make a very good looking couple on set. In the film, Knightley and Levine play a couple that moves to the “City that Never Sleeps” in pursuit of a music career, but when Adam’s character signs a record deal, he dumps Keira’s character. Oh, the dumping part sounds like a big teaser.

Hailee Steinfeld, Catherine Kenner, and Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine’s co-judge on The Voice, are also prepping for the film. Maroon 5 fans are sure to keep an eye on this one!
