After six years, Justin Timberlake has announced his return to music. The singer took a break from making albums in 2006 when he decided to focus on his acting. He snagged some pretty meaty roles, and you could say it was worth it.
However, one always returns to his roots, don’t you think? It was the world of music that gave Justin Timberlake fame. He was the frontman of 1990s boyband ‘N Sync. Afterwards, he churned out big hits going solo.
The singer explains in a video posted on his website that he was waiting until he was inspired before working on some new material. If you’re a newlywed, you must really be inspired, right? Justin married Jessica Biel in October. He says:
“Someone asked me the other day, ‘So are you just done with music?’ It means more to me than to anybody else in the world.”
“Look I’ve only done two albums in 10 years that’s the way I really look at it. What does the next decade mean for me? I’m the one who sits and is obsessive about it before you even get to hear it.”
Although there are no definite album names yet nor song titles, but you can be confident Justin Timberlake is working to dish out new music soon. He say he’s ready! Watch the vid:
