On Monday’s Ellen DeGeneres Show, John Mayer talks about girlfriend Jennifer Aniston’s new high-tech house and admits he occasionally sleeps over.

“There is no normal thing in the Aniston house,” he says. “You won’t find a light switch. The light switch is not antiquated. “There is a six-button light panel. It does everything,” Mayer goes on. “The top button is on and the button right below that one seems to be an air horn, so in the middle of the night, it [can be] very difficult [to sleep].”

Says Mayer, “The other day, I’m like, ‘This is the most beautiful kitchen of all time. Where is the trash?’” Aniston, he adds, “didn’t know where the trash was.”

Did he say “middle of the night?” Yes, he did. John also admitted to Ellen that he does sleep over Jennifer’s house, saying, “there are sleepovers.”

John Mayer is allegedly “too busy” for a committed relationship with Jennifer Aniston. Sources say the singer wants to focus on his music and doesn’t want Aniston’s high-profile lifestyle.

“John’s goal is to keep a low profile this year, and Jen is about as far off from low-profile as you can get,” says an insider. “He just wants to keep out of the spotlight and finally concentrate on his music. He’s always in and out of the studio [and] that’s his focus.”

“He keeps her in limbo,” the snitch reports. “She and John see each other and sleep with each other, but are they getting ready to walk down the aisle? No. Jennifer knows that. But at the same time, no girl wants to spend every night alone. She needs to accept the title of her new movie to be the title of her life.” Mayer’s rep says, “We do not comment on John’s personal life.”

The source adds that Mayer and Aniston are not ready to tie the knot, despite reports claiming the singer was set to propose on Aniston’s birthday.

Over the weekend John Mayer used his twitter account to stir up engagement rumors with posts saying “Visiting the Diamond Exchange in Tustin,” and “Welding an engagement ring for my girlfriend.”

John loves messing with the media so I am sure these posts are just to keep us guessing. Although, there have been rumors John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston split, the two did hang out together at a Superbowl Party in LA on Sunday night.

Heat magazine claims that John Mayer has dumped Jennifer Aniston again. It’s true that nobody’s seen a photo of the two together since before the holidays, sources claim that the pair split before a planned Golden Globes appearance together.

According to Heat magazine, Jennifer’s lack of enthusiasm for their union left John feeling rejected, which prompted him end the relationship. “It was after the Golden Globes, he decided to end it then and there,” an insider said.

Aniston allegedly realized that Mayer “was not the kind of guy she wanted to be with long term” after she spent New Year’s with him in Mexico. The break-up reports come days after sources claimed Mayer was set to propose to Aniston with a custom engagement ring on her 40th birthday on February 11.
