John Mayer Could Have Had This

John Mayer is a total crackpot, but I still feel a small inking of remorse for him in the fact that he reportedly almost landed Katy Perry before Russell Brand landed on the scene.

“They’d never met in person, and she went to meet him there after she was at a Jay-Z concert at Madison Square Garden,” a source close to Mayer tells E! News. Mayer had joined Jay-Z at MSG for a performance and afterward asked fellow showgoer Perry to meet up later that night.

“John thought she was so hot and fun and was into her,” the insider recounts. “They were so flirty and all over each other that night at the bar, they really liked each other. Their personalities just clicked and they were flirting and dancing and it was on.” And how. They stayed at the bar until late, leaving only moments apart from the downtown bar—conveniently just around the corner from Mayer’s love nest.

The next day, which happened to be the VMAs, the two traded more texts. But before their relationship could blossom any further, enter Brand.

So basically they had a one night stand, and that was it? Dude, I get it to a point, but Katy Perry isn’t good enough for anything more? Is anyone bro?I bet Mayer is kicking himself in the balls over this – literally.

Jennifer Aniston And John Mayer Did It. Again.

Jennifer Aniston must be really sore these last couple months cuz girl has been getting a workout! Jenn has been on a lot of dates, but like the sad little pup, she showed up at one of John Mayer’s concerts and then ended up at his hotel suite.

Jennifer Aniston is in Atlanta shooting her next movie Wanderlust and RadarOnline.com has learned that she wandered right on over to Aaron’s Amphitheatre in nearby Lakewood, Georgia Wednesday night to catch John Mayer’s show.

Jen was in work-out clothes and had a baseball cap pulled low over her face when she visited with John backstage after his performance, a source tells RadarOnline.com. “She looked gorgeous and seemed to be really enjoying herself. She and John laughed a lot.”

Afterward, Jen and John and several people connected with his tour all went back to her hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, where he rented a private suite for an impromptu party.

John moved on to his next tour stop, Tampa, Florida, the next day. Jen is in Atlanta for several more weeks filming Wanderlust with Paul Rudd.

Jessica Desperate Simpson has reportedly hooked up with John Mayer yet again:

. . . an insider reveals that, in a state of desperation and loneliness, she’s been secretly hooking up with her ex John Mayer, who unceremoniously dumped her in 2007 after they dated for a year. “They’ve always had an amazing connection,” a business associate of Jessica’s tells In Touch. Ignoring her friends’ warnings that the notorious player will just use her and then break up with her again, Jessica has jumped headfirst into a relationship with the singer now that she and Tony, 29, split. “Jessica is kidding herself that her and John stand a chance,” says a source.

John Mayer Preferred Jessica Simpson was Seen and Not Heard when they dated…

Back when they were dating, John Mayer felt Jessica Simpson should be seen and not heard. He liked the way Jessica looked but wasn’t really interested in what she had to say. If fact he would rather her not say anything.

“John used to tell Jess all the time, ‘I’m really attracted to your spiritual side,’ ” a friend tells us. “He’d tell her that every time she opened her mouth to speak. It was a nice way of basically saying, ‘Just sit there and be pretty, and don’t ruin it with talk.’ The sad thing is she started to tell people, ‘I’m working on being more spiritual,’ and then just sit there quietly.”

I mean I can’t completely blame John Mayer for this. Back when Nick and Jessica were on “Newlyweds” and were out having a romantic dinner, there were a few times she ruined the mood for me. They would be in a beautiful place enjoying the scene and then she would come out and say the dumbest f’ing thing.

John Mayer Debuts new song "Heartbreak Warfare" about Jennifer Aniston

John Mayer’s new song ‘Heartbreak Warfare’ is reportedly about his split from Jennifer Aniston. The actress is mentioned by name in the song.

“If you want more love, Why don’t you say so? Drop his name, push it in and twist the knife again; Watch my face as I pretend to feel no pain, pain, pain,” Mayer sings.

The song will be featured on Mayer’s upcoming album Battle Studies. “The concept of the album is the war of love – the art of war of love,” Mayer said. “Sometimes instead of saying ‘I love you,’ people can’t recognize that. They recognize how much you come to their aid when they are in pain.”

Aniston and Mayer split in March after several months of dating. The pair has not commented on the reports.
