Katy Perry and John Mayer Back Together for Good?

Looks like Katy just couldn’t stay away!

Just one week after their last breakup, the obviously on-again couple was spotted headed to lunch together at the ABC Kitchen in New York City’s West Village on Tuesday, October 16.

The lunch date was particularly significant because it was John’s 35th birthday—and he chose to spend it with Katy… and only with Katy.

That’s obviously not something he would do if he and Katy were still broken up.

Last week it was reported that the Wide Awake singer, who ended her 14-month marriage to British comedian Russell Brand earlier this year, had finally broken up with Mayer due to his inability to commit. A source revealed to RadarOnline.com:

“John just can’t commit, and he kept luring Katy back with promises that was going to change, but then he didn’t. Katy was pretty crazy about him, so she kept giving him another chance… She was sick of John disappearing for five days at a time, then booty calling her, then straightening up and treating her well, only to go back to his old behavior a few days later… Finally she was like ‘lose my number’.”

It was the second breakup for the couple—they also split up in August, but immediately got back together a few weeks later.

Before she started dating John, Katy was linked to male model Baptiste Giabiconi and Florence and the Machine rocker Robert Ackroyd.

Katy Perry Goes Ginger!

She’s gone blonde, blue, pink, the whole rainbow, and even  brunette. Now, Katy Perry is going ginger!

For the cover of France’s L’Officiel magazine, the Wide Awake songstress went for orange locks and gothic chic style. Hold on, doesn’t she look like Florence Welch from Florence + the Machine?

After John Mayer debuted his long, hobo-styled hair following the couple’s breakup, is this Perry’s comeback? Well, we don’t know that for sure, but what we do know is that Katy hates her hair plain black.

John Mayer’s Stylist Talks About His New ‘Do!

Looks like John Mayer and his stylist have a mutual understanding!

Last August 25, the Say What You Need to Say singer, 34, showed off his trimmed ‘do at The Hollywood Reporter’s celebration for The Mindy Project, Mindy Kaling’s newest comedy series. Apparently, the singer popped into Sally Hershberger’s salon in LA a day before the actual party to get his “extreme” makeover. Hershberger shared:

“I was thinking the night before that I wanted to cut his hair off, and when John came into the salon that is exactly what he wanted to do without me saying a word. We have a flow that just works.”

Well, that’s Sally’s side of the story. Seems like we still need to wait for John’s explanation on why he wanted that much hair cut off.

Katy Perry Spotted with John Mayer at a Concert Despite Rumors of a Breakup

Seems like the romance between Katy Perry and John Mayer is not done yet!

Although several sources revealed last week that the couple already split up, the singers were seen together at the FYF concert in downtown L.A. over the weekend. Mayer and Perry were spotted at the VIP section of the music festival, seemingly enjoying each other’s company, even dancing and kissing at some point as they watched bands like Sleigh Bells and Purity Ring. The Say What You Need To Say singer was reportedly wearing a cowboy hat and had his arms around Perry, who, meanwhile, sported a simple floral print dress.

Although the couple’s attendance at the festival was really kept under covers, some fans saw the couple and even took pictures of them while they partied the night out.

Seems like next time, John and Katy should confirm things themselves.

Katy Perry Hits Disneyland Post-Split with John Mayer

Newly single Katy Perry in the happiest place on Earth!

The “Wide Awake” singer, 27, was spotted in Disneyland with her friends last weekend, just a couple of days after her breakup with John Mayer became known to the public. Perry was seen walking around the park in a group; she and a gal pal gave the Buzz Lightyear ride a try and strutted with Mickey Mouse ears in a restaurant.

Just a couple of days before her Disneyland trip, however, multiple sources shared about how Katy felt after breaking up with Mayer. One source shared:

“She’s really upset about it.”

Adds another source:

“She is making it seem like it wasn’t serious with John, but she is hurt.”

Well, going around Disneyland sure looks like a good way to unwind!
