Jason Segel and Michelle Williams Engaged?

Are Jason Segel and Michelle Williams getting married?

According to some reports, Jason Segel is already engaged to Michelle Williams, with the actor proposing to his girlfriend a couple of weeks ago when they were in San Diego for the Comic-Con. The reports say that the proposal was very lovely, with William’s favorite flowers scattered all over the room and Matilda, William’s daughter, handing her mom a bouquet with a “Will you marry me?” note tucked in the petals.

The story seems legit, but … doesn’t it seem too much of a fairytale?

True enough, a source shares that though the two are happily in love, they’re not engaged—yet.

Guess Matilda should play flower girl another time!

Jason Segel Takes Girlfriend’s Daughter on a Day Out

Jason Segel

It seems that Jason Segel is all fired up to take on daddy duty!

Segel, who made his romance with Michelle Williams public in March 2012, was spotted with his girlfriend’s daughter, Matilda Legder, on a day out in Brooklyn, New York. Matilda, 6, who is Williams’ daughter with her late ex-fiance Heath Ledger, looked very comfortable with The Five Year Engagement actor, and to prove it, she let the actor hold her little hand as they strolled around the street.

Back in April, a source close to Williams spilled that Matilda:

“…loves Jason. Jason knows how to entertain children. You can’t be that obsessed with puppets and not learn a few things!”

Another insider also shared:

Jason is obsessed with Michelle and wants to be a father figure to Matilda. He’s been doing all sorts of ‘dad stuff’ with her, like drawing and playing music. They’ve been spending time together whenever possible.”

And though it seems like the 32-year-old Segel has already gotten Matilda’s blessing, his friends were in doubt about how his relationship with Williams would work. One of his confidantes revealed:

”I never thought Jason would ever date someone with a kid. But he’s taking everything in stride. He’s ready to be a grown-up.”
