Anne Hathaway Confesses Trauma with Drastic Haircut

Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway sheds some hair … and tears.

Hathaway surprised her fans, even upset some, when she cut off her long chestnut hair into a rather boyish hairdo for the film adaptation of the Broadway musical, Les Miserables, where she will be playing Fantine, the dying prostitute.

The actress confessed her trauma last Thursday on Live! With Kelly. Anne, 29, admitted:

I wasn’t expecting it to be a big deal. It was my idea to do it, since it was something the character did … [But then] I realized I couldn’t take it back.

She also said that she broke down to hysteria at the time. She said:

[I was] a mental patient level of crying … I was inconsolable.

The drastic haircutting was a lot harder than “doing back flips out of windows and jumping off buildings,” she added.

Well, Hathaway will probably get her long hair back again when she walks down the aisle. She and her fiancé Adam Shulman, a fellow thespian, are set to get married in October 2013.

Madison Beer: Justin Bieber’s “#futurestar”

A simple math formula can simplify all this madness right now: Twitter + Justin Bieber = Fame. Instant fame.

Well, first it was “Call Me Maybe” songstress Carly Rae Jepsen. Now, it’s Madison Beer. The 13-year-old almost-singer trended worldwide on Twitter, thanks to a couple of precious tweets from the heartthrob Justin Bieber. If the Twitter hype is to be believed, Beer is in the talks of signing with Scooter Braun, the same man responsible for the existence of Bieber and Jepsen in the Hollywood spotlight.

The superstar tweeted to his loyal Beliebers a link to Madison’s youtube video, which is of her singing Etta James’ “At Last.” He said:

wow. 13 years old! she can sing. great job. #futurestar-http://youtu.be/_0otR5cFhew.

How Madison responded? Well, like any other Belieber would, I suppose:

@justinbieberOMGOGMFHAHDBSBAWHEBSBSHHWEHHDXHSHHAFBBAGEEHYBT I CANT BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING. I AM CRYING.

Well, her enthusiasm surely paid off. Bieber’s original tweet has been tweeted more than 14,000 times, and Madison’s followers has gone up to 20,000 (it’s probably going up as you read this). Also, the rising star’s name has been trending worldwide ever since the tweet got a Bieber fever.

And as if all that craze wasn’t enough, the Biebs tweeted two more videos of the sensational teen to both Carly Rae Jepsen (his previous discovery) and Bruno Mars so they can be “marvelled” by her, too.

haha. @carlyraejepsen watch this. pretty funny. reminds me of my old videos. #MashUpFReakOUTyoutu.be/yYt7DfLHwPM.

Then he tweeted again:

this is just how i started. i love it. @brunomars u gotta see one. She is great. #STAR- youtu.be/COhrE0aW_tk

So I guess this is how things go now: when Justin Bieber calls you a star, you are a star.

The social media has no idea, the effect it has.

Madonna Points Gun to Her Head in Concert

Madonna

Madonna is living in a Material World—literally.

Rome got a glimpse of her butt, and Paris saw her boobs. But London got a different show: Madonna and Co. with big shiny guns onstage in London’s Hyde Park during her rather controversial MDNA tour. She was probably inspired by Lindsay Lohan’s recent gun photo shoot because later on in the show, she pointed the gun to her temple.

Scary, eh?

Apparently, gun jokes and referrals to suicide aren’t much favored these days.

After LiLo posted with a gun pointed to her mouth in a photo, and Madonna pointed a revolver to her head, the national suicide hotline, Hopeline, released a statement.

When a celebrity uses suicide and specifically the means to do it as a joke, it is grossly irresponsible and is a disgrace. It also must be met with an immediate rebuke from the mental-health community. This is no joking matter. Lives are at stake.

Oops, Madonna did it again.

Kristen Stewart Publicly Apologizes for Her Cheating Scandal

Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart is sorry, y’all.

After a magazine exposed her fling with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, the 22-year-old actress released an apologetic statement in line with her cheating scandal. She says in the statement:

I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected.

The actress also offered a very emotional and direct indication of regret to her on-screen and off-screen love, Robert Pattinson, 26.

This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.

Meanwhile, Rupert Sanders, 41, is currently married to wife of seven years Liberty Ross, with whom he has two children, aged 5 and 7. The director has also released a public apology of his own.

We forgive you, Kristen, but will Robert?

Heidi Klum’s #1 Household Rule: Always Look Cool

Heidi Klum

So far, it seems like Heidi Klum has been successful in letting her children inherit her sense of style. The supermodel shares:

We have a rule in the house. Rule No. 1 is always to look cool, and rule No. 2 is don’t forget about rule No. 1. We have other rules … but the No. 1 rule is to always look cool.

Among her four kids—Leni, 8, Henry, 6½, Johan, 5½, and Lou, 2½—the first two kiddos take the #1 rule rather seriously. The Project Runway judge adds:

Henry changes clothes 10 times a day and he wants to be very cool. I mean, he would wear a T-shirt and then he will wear a tie just around his neck, knotted, and then a belt over the shirt. He [has] very unusual ways of dressing where I’m like, ‘Really? You want to put the belt over your T-shirt and the tie around your neck?’ And he’s like, ‘Yes, mom. I’m cool.’

Sure looks fun to be a baby fashionista when your mother is Heidi Klum!
