Christian Bale Brings Cancer Patient to Disneyland

Seems like Christian Bale is taking his superhero role seriously!

The Dark Knight Rises actor took a 4-year-old leukemia patient named Jayden Barber and his family to California to have lunch in Disneyland’s Club 33! The toddler’s mom, Charlene Barber, shared their experience on the child’s Facebook page. She wrote along with a photo of Christian and Jaden:

“Finally can share!!! Christian sent us to LA and we had lunch at Disney club 33 on wed. He and his family were so awesome and down to earth!!!”

The mom continued telling her family’s rare experience while they were going around the theme park:

“The entire interaction was like old friends having lunch. Jayden did not get star struck but was well aware of who we were with!”

She added:

“They talked movies and superheroes and he was genuinely happy to hear about everything Jayden wanted to tell him. Christian, his wife and daughter are three of the most beautiful people we have ever met! Christian made these arrangements for us personally and ensured we were treated like royalty. I don’t have even one negative thing to say about them.”

Barber was being treated for bone cancer, originally, but it became MDS leukemia after two years of chemotherapy.

Surely, in Christian Bale’s world, superheroes exist!

Al Pacino Takes Challenging Movie Role As Disgraced Coach Joe Paterno

Hollywood legend Al Pacino will once again showcase his superb acting skills in a new film about disgraced Penn State football coach Joe Paterno.

The movie is based on the New York Times bestselling book, Paterno. As film experts said, Al Pacino is the perfect choice for the challenging role. He has the skills and experience to give justice to Paterno’s character.

Paterno, who had the best winning record in college football, led a life full of challenges and intrigue.  He was fired from his coaching job due to his alleged role in covering up the child molestation scandal involving assistant coach Jerry Sandusky, who was revealed to be a pedophile.

The new book, which was written by former Sports Illustrated columnist Joe Posnanski, takes a closer look at Paterno’s  relationship with Sandusky. Due to the scandal, Paterno was fired from Penn State in November. He died in January.

It was also learned that an independent report conducted by former FBI director Louis Freeh, concluded that Paterno as well as other Penn State bigwigs, “failed to protect against a child sexual predator harming children for over a decade.”

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively Tie the Knot in Secret!

Hollywood, please welcome Mrs. Ryan Reynolds!

Multiple sources confirm that Blake Lively, 25, and Ryan Reynolds, 35, secretly exchanged “I dos” at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., just out of Charleston. Being totally secret, the guests list only included close friends, but some Hollywood stars close to the two were spotted at the venue as well.

The wedding reception happened underneath a big white tent, with Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine and a DJ serenading the newlyweds.

This is Lively’s first marriage. She previously dated Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley and Leonardo DiCaprio. Meanwhile, this is Reynolds’ second. He married Scarlett Johansson back in 2008 but divorced in 2011, citing irreconcilable differences.

A Healthier Macaulay Culkin Resurfaces After Allegations of Drug Addiction

Looks like Macaulay is back in the game!

During the summer, Macaulay Culkin has been the topic of rumors here and there because of his alleged drug addiction and very shocking skeletal look.

However, the Home Alone child star, now 32, was spotted looking fresher and healthier as he planned on his newest venture called Three Men and a Baby, a collection of artworks which is a result of his collaboration with his friends from the folk-indie rock band Moldy Peaches, Adam Green, and Toby Godshank.

The actor donned a rather scruffy beard, and he shared that he and his pals have been creating “wacky collage paintings,” in his apartment in NYC. He explained:

“We cleared out everything, laid down plastic and went a little nuts at the art supply store.”

The first exhibit of the group, called Leisure Inferno, will be featured at the Le Poisson Rouge in New York on September 13.

The actor, whose last acting stint happened three years ago, added:

What’s the vision for “Leisure Inferno”? “The sillier and funner, the better.”

Wow, here’s to hoping that we’ll see more of the healthier Macaulay!

Twilight Star Jackson Rathbone is a Loving Father to Son, 2

He might be a vampire in the Twilight series, but in real life Jackson Rathbone is a cool and loving father to his son, 2.

Rathbone was recently seen with his son outside a coffee shop in Los Angeles. The 27-year-old actor looked very caring and loving towards his little boy while his girlfriend was inside the coffee shop.

Playing Jasper Hale in Twilight, Rathbone is obviously a happy and proud dad, who loves to be seen with his son in public. Rathbone’s girlfriend, Sheila Hatsadi, gave birth to their son, Monroe Jackson Rathbone IV, last July.

The Twilight actor and his 24-year-old dancer girlfriend met while the former was touring with his band, 100 Monkeys.

According to sources, the final installment of the Twilight saga will hit theaters around the world on November 16.
