Seems like Demi is really serious about fighting against bullying!
The “Skyscraper” singer officially revealed via her Twitter account that she is the official ambassador for Secret deodorant’s “Mean Stinks” anti-bullying campaign, which urges girls to “gang up for good.” Surely thrilled and excited about her contribution to the project, Demi shared:
“So excited to be Secret’s new @meanstinks ambassador!!! #gangupforgood.”
Of course, it isn’t surprising that Demi wants to help the cause. She herself experienced extreme bullying as a tween. She explained:
“I had a really tough time when I was in middle school. People would write ‘hate petitions’ [about me] and send them around to be signed. They’d have CD-bashing parties of my demos. They’d come to my house, stand across the street and yell things. It was a very emotional time for me, and all I wanted to do was get away.”
It’s good to know that she’s using her bad experiences for a good cause! You go, Demi!
According to reliable sources, Justin Bieber is bound to appear on the newest season of The X Factor as a celeb mentor. Reportedly, he’s pairing up with L.A. Reid’s team to share his experiences and give advice to the chosen top 16 acts.
The singer was seen shooting for his stint on the show in Hollywood Hills .
On the show, each mentor is given four acts to handle and help out. Rumor has it that Nick Jonas will be partnering up with fellow former Disney star Demi Lovato, but no official announcement has been made yet.
With these celebs as mentors, looks like X-Factor’s newest season will be the best one yet!
It looks like American Idol is on a hunting spree for the newest Idol and for new judges to qualify them.
Along with AdamLambert, Idol’sbosses are also considering Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Fergie, Katy Perry, and Will.I.Am to be the newest judges on the show according to some insiders. So, you might be wondering how many judges will there be this time, and who is most likely to snag a spot. One of the insiders spills:
“No one has signed any contracts yet, and producers are currently putting out feelers and setting up meetings to see who they can get. We won’t know if Randy [Jackson] and Steven [Tyler] are returning until they see who else is on board.”
Fox representatives refused to comment on the issue. The Idolbosses reportedly still want J.Lo back; however, the actress/singer hinted previously that she doesn’t want to return. And while they do love Randy and Steven, Fox would also like to have some fresh (and younger) judges, allegedly to compete with The X Factor, which recently snagged Britney Spears and Demi Lovato as judges.
Despite the absence of judges, auditions for the show’s 12th season are underway with producers calling the shots. With only three more cities to go, time is running out for Fox to decide on the latest and final list of judges!
Surely, this is going to get Glee fans singing, “Oh yeah.”
