Britney Spears Shaved Her Head to Hide Drug Use Says Former Manager

Britney went bald because of drugs, according to her ex-manager Sam Lufti.

The singer and X Factor judge is currently being sued by Lufti for defamation, libel, and breach of contract, and during an appearance in court on Thrsday, his lawyer, Joe Schleimer, alleged that the his client’s former employer shaved her head back in 2007 because she wanted to hide the evidence of her drug use.

In his statement, Schleimer claimed:

“She liked to use amphetamines. Mostly everything that went wrong [during Spears’ infamous meltdown] was because of this drug.”

The allegation serves as Lufti’s response to the claim that Britney’s mom, Lynne Spears, made in her book, Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, where she claimed that Lufti was largely responsible for a lot of Britney’s problems during her meltdown, and that he (according to Lynne) kept her drugged and isolated.

Lufti’s lawyer also told the court that Britney was addicted to crystal meth, and right before her meltdown became increasingly paranoid that her hair contained traces of all the illegal drugs she had been abusing… so she shaved it all off.

The pop superstar allegedly took such extreme action because she was afraid that a judge might test her hair for drugs, and if it turned up positive, she would lose custody of her two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Britney has yet to comment on the allegations.

Britney Spears Settles Lawsuit with Former Bodyguard

Looks like Britney Spears isn’t letting a lawsuit get in her way!

The pop princess has already settled her case with her ex-bodyguard, who claims that she sexually harassed him and was very abusive towards her children.

Details on how Britney’s team dealt with the bodyguard Fernando Flores were not announced or talked about. Nor was there any immediate statements from both parties. But at least, it’s all good now. It’s been two years, after all.

In the lawsuit, the bodyguard claimed that the pop star always “flashed” her private parts at him, specifying an incident wherein she allegedly bent over while wearing a white, see-through dress. He also accused Spears of being a negligent mother to her two children, even saying that she made the boys Sean and Jayden eat until they vomited and then hit them with a belt.

Spears has yet to comment on the said issue.

Madonna Won’t Be Kissing Britney and X-Tina!

So the Internet has been buzzing with the news that Madonna will once again lock lips with Britney Spears and X-Tina Aguilera like they did way back in their MTV Video Music Awards in 2003. The Hollywood Reporter reported:

“According to the Twitter feed for the singer’s latest album, MDNA, Aguilera will appear at Madonna’s concerts in Los Angeles on Oct. 10 and 11 for a ‘special performance,’ while Spears will ‘attend’ the show on the 10th.”

However, it turns out that the MDNA Twitter account is a ‘fake’ as confirmed by Madonna’s rep, and that the rumors are just, well, rumors. Britney Spears and X-Tina Aguilera won’t be joining Madge onstage on her tour in LA. Reps of Britney Spears and X-Tina Aguilera also confirmed that the reunion report is indeed false.

Maybe they should re-think it over. It would be a sold-out show!

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick Not Cancelling Their Wedding Despite Speculations

Are Britney Spears and fiancé Jason Trawick on the rocks?

Well, according to some speculations, Britney is getting “cold feet” and might not even push through with the wedding. However, according to her close friend, she’s not backing out.

“Everything is absolutely fine between them [Spears and Trawick]. The wedding is not off. They are as blissfully happy as ever but they want to get The X-Factor out the way before they even start planning a wedding.”

One time, Spears was spotted sans her engagement ring, hence the speculation that she and her fiancé are not in good terms. However, the source adds:

“When they got engaged, they were not in any rush to walk down the aisle, they want to take things slow and have time to plan the perfect wedding and make everything very special for them and the boys.”

Well, there you go, folks. Now we can just focus on waiting for the wedding bells to ring!

Fox Reportedly on the Hunt for New Judges for American Idol’s 12th Season

It looks like American Idol is on a hunting spree for the newest Idol and for new judges to qualify them.

Along with Adam Lambert, Idol’s bosses are also considering Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Fergie, Katy Perry, and Will.I.Am to be the newest judges on the show according to some insiders. So, you might be wondering how many judges will there be this time, and who is most likely to snag a spot. One of the insiders spills:

“No one has signed any contracts yet, and producers are currently putting out feelers and setting up meetings to see who they can get. We won’t know if Randy [Jackson] and Steven [Tyler] are returning until they see who else is on board.”

Fox representatives refused to comment on the issue. The Idol bosses reportedly still want J.Lo back; however, the actress/singer hinted previously that she doesn’t want to return. And while they do love Randy and Steven, Fox would also like to have some fresh (and younger) judges, allegedly to compete with The X Factor, which recently snagged Britney Spears and Demi Lovato as judges.

Despite the absence of judges, auditions for the show’s 12th season are underway with producers calling the shots. With only three more cities to go, time is running out for Fox to decide on the latest and final list of judges!
