Emily Blunt is Hooked On Pilates Class

A new kind of exercise is sweeping Hollywood by storm these days.

Many celebrities are hooked on Pilates classes as a form of exercise to slim down and be fit. Hollywood actress Emily Blunt is the latest celebrity to get hooked on this kind of exercise.

The Devils Wears Prada star was recently seen attending a Pilates class in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. Sporting a grey T-shirt, black leggings, and bright red and black sneakers, the 29-year-old actress looked gorgeous and fit.

According to reports, the actress started by going for a cardio run around the track, before stepping up her pace with some circuit training. Blunt was reportedly very serious in her Pilates class as she managed to keep pace with her toned male trainer and carry out the range of stretches and manoeuvres expected of her.

It is nice to know that despite their tight schedules as stars, many celebrities still find time to exercise and be fit and trim.

James Righton a “Lovestruck Puppy” When Around Keira Knightley

Keira Knightley’s got herself a keeper.

Though the actress, 27, might have been initially into her boyfriend James Righton’s bad-boy rock star appeal, she surely brought out the softer side of the 28-year-old Klaxons keyboardist. According to a friend of the two, James “can turn into this lovestruck puppy” when he’s around Keira.

Early in May, the two announced their engagement. Reportedly, Righton’s proposal was a result of a full-on convincing of his guy friends, thinking that if he didn’t, Knightley might slip off watch. Says a close friend of the two:

Honestly, they’re good for each other. They love being engaged.

Before meeting James, Keira dated actor Rupert Friend for around five years, but she confirmed their split-up in December 2010.

The Anna Karenina actress and the rocker’s relationship was first publicized when they were caught kissing in an East London park last April. Reportedly, they were introduced to each other by Alexa Chung, a mutual friend.

We’ll surely hear the wedding bells soon!

Daniel Craig Gives Wife Rachel Weisz a Jaguar Convertible as Gift

If you have the money, why not reward your wife with an expensive car?

Well, that is what James Bond star Daniel Craig did with his Hollywood A-lister actress-wife, Rachel Weisz, 42. In her recent guesting before The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Weisz revealed her husband gave her a 1978 Jaguar convertible as gift.

The actress, who promoted her latest film The Bourne Legacy on the show, said she dearly loved her Hollywood-lister actor husband. Weisz married Craig last June 2011 after a six-month courtship.

Aside from the The Bourne Legacy, which also stars Jeremy Renner on the title role, Weisz can also be seen next on Oz: The Great And  Powerful, which is slated to be released in 2013. It is nice to know that Weisz remains very much active in her acting career despite already being married.

We hoped to see Weisz in more movies in the years to come.

Katie Holmes Goes to Broadway After Divorce with Tom Cruise

Looks like Hollywood actress Katie Holmes is dead serious with her acting career now that she is divorced from A-lister actor Tom Cruise.

Holmes is set to return to Broadway in New York City to star in a five-character comedy play that will be directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien. The newly single actress is set to take part in Theresa Rebeck’s Dead Accounts at the Music Box Theatre.

Sources revealed Dead Accounts talks about a son who returns to his family’s home in Cincinnati, flush with money, which raises red flags for his sister, who is living with their elderly parents. According to reports, Holmes will play the sister role.

The stage play is the second in the acting career of Holmes, who earlier appeared on Broadway in the 2008 production of All My Sons.  With her Broadway appearance, it is speculated that Holmes will now reside in New York City away from Cruise who lives in Los Angeles.

We wish Holmes all the best in her acting career now that she is separated from Tom Cruise.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand Officially Divorced

Katy Perry and Russell Brand are officially single and ready to mingle.

Although the couple’s divorce request was granted last February, they weren’t really single until last Monday, a newspaper confirms. According to California’s law, a divorce cannot be finalized until a minimum of six months has passed.

27-year-old Perry and 37-year-old Brand got hitched on October 23, 2010 in a traditional Indian ceremony. On December 30 last year, the British comedian blindsided the “Teenage Dream” singer by filing for divorce after just 14 months of being married. Perry admitted in her life movie Katy Perry: Part of Me:

Being in love is a dream, but the reality is not like the movies. There’s a lot more compromise and sacrifice.

In her attempt to make her marriage last, the hit singer would fly to wherever her husband was working just to be able to spend time with him. She told the camera:

I’m trying to keep my marriage alive.

When news of her divorce broke out, an obviously upset Perry said:

The truth is I’m a romantic and I believed in the fairy tale. . .I did everything I could but it still failed.  The dream of being in love is a lot different than the reality of making it work.

The former couple also had arguments over having a baby and starting a family of their own. Perry thinks that “a baby can’t have a baby” and she’s “still a baby,” while Brand thinks that he “feels there’s no point in being married if you don’t have kids.”

Finally, Brand told Ellen:

I still love her as a human being. But, sometimes when you’re in a relationship I suppose it doesn’t work out, does it? But that doesn’t mean I regret it or anything.
