Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson to Skip This Year’s Twilight Convention

Looks like Twi-fans need to work on being a lil’ more patient to see their fave couple back together under the spotlight!

The estranged duo isn’t going to attend the Twilight conventions in San Antonio, Texas; Detroit, Michigan; Parsippany, New Jersey; and Burbank, California. Kristen Stewart, 22, and Robert Pattinson, 26, along with their co-star, Taylor Lautner, 20, though they’ve attended in the past years, are to skip the events for the last installment of their raved series. Creation Entertainment released a statement:

“The passion and dedication of Twilight fandom has been amazing and we’re out to throw one last giant convention, a final gathering to see old friends that have made up the Twilight family. Although Rob, Kristen, and Taylor will not be with us this time out, we will have a super line-up of other Twilight stars, and the weekend will be filled with special events, movie prop and costume displays, contests, panels, auctions, parties, exclusive merchandise, music and much more, including some surprises!”

Well, here’s to hoping that we’ll see the famous trio on their movie’s premiere night!

Homeless Man Could Spend Rest of Life in Jail for Trying to Rob LL Cool J

A 56-year-old homeless man faces the grim possibility of staying in jail for the rest of his life after he tried to rob the house of Hollywood actor LL Cool J.

The police formally filed a case for first-degree burglary with a person present against Jonathan Kirby for trying to rob the house of the actor in Los Angeles, California. If convicted, Kirby faces a maximum of 38 years to life in prison.

A bail of $1.1 million has been set. According to reports, the suspect remains at a local hospital because of his broken nose, jaw, and ribs, results of his fight with the NCIS: Los Angeles actor.

LL Cool J successfully fought and detained the burglar in his kitchen last Wednesday morning. Sources say the actor will not face criminal charges for knocking down the suspect, since what he did was a form of self-defense.

We know LL Cool J is very happy about the developments in the case. 

Katie Holmes Gets Only Child Support and Nothing Else From Tom Cruise

Oh, look what happens if a Hollywood marriage doesn’t end in good terms! Billionaire superstar Tom Cruise’s prenup apparently left his ex-wife Katie Holmes with no spousal support (read: nothing, zilch, nada), although he’s worth $250 million.

According to TMZ, Katie will get money for child support, which according to the settlement Tom must pay $400,000 a year. This boils down to $33,333.33 per month paid by electronic transfer for the next 12 years until Suri Cruise turns 18, totaling in $4.8 million. Suri’s side expenses, including medical, dental, insurance, education, college, and extracurricular costs must be paid by Tom as well.

Word is, Katie could’ve brought this case to trial and get more $$$ in child support, but both she and Tom decided to settle without going to court. Looks like they’re so done with each other.

Which only makes me wonder why even more.

Tom Cruise is Now Slimmer Due to Heartbreak

Hollywood A-lister actor Tom Cruise looks slim and not quite good physically these days because of heartbreak.

According to reports, Cruise lost 14 lbs in just three weeks after his wife, Hollywood actress Katie Holmes, decided to divorce him. Reliable sources said, due to heartbreak, the 50-year-old American actor is spending most of his time working and is even skipping meals.

Family and friends of the actor are reportedly very concerned about the sad situation. At the moment, it has been revealed to the media that the divorce proceedings of Holmes and Cruise are finally over. The judge handling their divorce case has reportedly decided to approve the separation of the two.

Cruise has been nominated for three Academy Awards and has won three Golden Globe Awards for the same movies: Born on the Fourth of July (1989), Jerry Maguire (1996), and Magnolia (1999).

Well, we hope Tom recovers from the heartbreak of his divorce soon.

Joey Kovar Found Dead at 29

Yet another loss of Hollywood.

Fans, family, friends, and the like all mourn the loss of Joey Kovar, who was found dead inside a house in Chicago. The actor was 29. His body was discovered by a female friend. He was said to have had blood flowing from his nose and ears. Authorized personnel came rushing to the place after receiving a 911 call. They pronounced the reality star dead on the spot.

Joey Kovar’s family believes that drugs might have had something to do with his death. The actor publicly asked for help for his ecstasy and cocaine addiction during a 2010 guesting on Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew.

Condolences to his family, and may he rest in peace.
