Taylor Swift Likes Talking About “Boyfriend Issues”

But we already know that, don’t we?

It’s pretty much public knowledge that the 22-year-old country singer has a penchant for writing songs about her former boyfriends—and most of them aren’t very flattering. But majority of Taylor’s songs, if not all, are about her favorite topic in the world: love.

Swift, who covers the latest issue of Country Weekly, opens up about why she’s always singing about romance and heartache. She tells the mag:

“I end up in conversations about relationships no matter what… When I talk to fans and I see them in public or I run into them at Starbucks or at the airport or something, they always ask me about their boyfriend issues, and I love it! It’s my favorite thing to talk about.”

And although she’s had quite a substantial number of failed relationships for a girl her age, the singer, who is currently dating 18-year-old Conor Kennedy, has never wavered in her love for love. The hopeless romantic shares:

“I just love talking about love. I love writing about love. I love thinking about love because it’s so unpredictable.”

Miley Cyrus Speaks Out About Jonas Brothers’ Song “Wedding Bells”

Miley is pretty much 100% positive that her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas wrote the new Jonas Brothers song Wedding Bells for her.

When the former Hannah Montana star heard about her ex’s new song, she knew right away that it was about her—the title alone, after all, was enough to give it up. And although neither Nick (nor his brothers Joe and Kevin) have revealed or confirmed who their new song is about, it wasn’t exactly all that hard to guess, especially since the song contains obvious clues—aside from the title—that point to Miley… including the mention of a June 11 anniversary, which as any of you who’ve read Miley’s biography would know, is her and Nick’s anniversary.

It’s been a week since Nick first performed Wedding Bells during the Jonas Brothers’ reunion concert in New York, and fans of both the singer and his famous Disney ex have been waiting with bated breath for Miley’s reaction… which she finally gave during her recent interview with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. Speaking about who the song is about, Miley said:

“I don’t know who else is getting married… so I feel like that’s pretty blatant.”

But Miley, who allegedly had her heart broken by Nick after a long on-again-off-again relationship, doesn’t feel angry or upset about the fact that her ex-boyfriend wrote a song about her. The singer explained:

“Everyone has to write songs that are about things that they felt… So, you can’t ever hate on someone for writing about something you’ve been through.”

Miley continued:

“I think that you kind of get a fair warning when you date an artist and someone that’s a writer. When you’re going through things that you’re going to end up hearing about it on the radio.”

I wonder if Liam is as calm and cavalier about the song as she seems to be…

Joaquin Phoenix Says the Academy Awards are “Bulls**t”

Have you ever heard an actor say such a thing?

Though he’s been nominated twice for an Academy Award—once in the Best Supporting Actor category for his work in the 2000 film Gladiator and again for Best Actor in the 2005 film Walk The Line—Joaquin Phoenix doesn’t think much of the awards show… or any awards show, really.

Phoenix, whose performance in the upcoming film The Master has been getting early Oscars buzz, recently revealed to Interview magazine that he doesn’t believe the whole institution of awards shows like the Academy Awards. He says:

”I think it’s bulls**t… I think it’s total, utter bulls**t, and I don’t want to be a part of it. I don’t believe in it.”

Joaquin then attempts to explain his distaste for the whole awards thing:

“It’s a carrot, but it’s the worst-tasting carrot I’ve ever tasted in my whole life. I don’t want this carrot. It’s totally subjective. Pitting people against each other… It’s the stupidest thing in the whole world.”

As for how he felt when he was nominated for Best Actor in 2005, Joaquin admits:

“It was one of the most uncomfortable periods in my life when Walk the Line was going through all the awards stuff and all that. I never want to have that experience again.”

The actor adds:

“I don’t know how to explain it — and it’s not like I’m in this place where I think I’m just above it — but I just don’t ever want to get comfortable with that part of things.”

But getting Academy Awards isn’t the only aspect the actor hates about his job. He shares:

“There are certain aspects of acting that I don’t like. I’m not a person who loves being on set. I mean, I know people that have their espresso machines in their trailers and they like being in there and they put pictures on walls. But I don’t like it. I don’t like sitting around. I don’t like small talk and being around 60 people all day long. So there are many different pieces that are required as an actor that I find difficult. Press and things like that.”

Britney Spears Shaved Her Head to Hide Drug Use Says Former Manager

Britney went bald because of drugs, according to her ex-manager Sam Lufti.

The singer and X Factor judge is currently being sued by Lufti for defamation, libel, and breach of contract, and during an appearance in court on Thrsday, his lawyer, Joe Schleimer, alleged that the his client’s former employer shaved her head back in 2007 because she wanted to hide the evidence of her drug use.

In his statement, Schleimer claimed:

“She liked to use amphetamines. Mostly everything that went wrong [during Spears’ infamous meltdown] was because of this drug.”

The allegation serves as Lufti’s response to the claim that Britney’s mom, Lynne Spears, made in her book, Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, where she claimed that Lufti was largely responsible for a lot of Britney’s problems during her meltdown, and that he (according to Lynne) kept her drugged and isolated.

Lufti’s lawyer also told the court that Britney was addicted to crystal meth, and right before her meltdown became increasingly paranoid that her hair contained traces of all the illegal drugs she had been abusing… so she shaved it all off.

The pop superstar allegedly took such extreme action because she was afraid that a judge might test her hair for drugs, and if it turned up positive, she would lose custody of her two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Britney has yet to comment on the allegations.

Heidi Montag is Spent Out: She Lost “Over a Million Dollars”

Not really all that surprising, is it?

Heidi Montag spent all her money on trying to make herself look perfect… and now she’s totally broke.

The former reality star and her husband, Spencer Pratt, have long since spent all the money they earned while they were still at the height of their fame.

In August 2011, it was reported that Montag and Pratt had finally hit rock bottom (money-wise) after living lavishly for so long without any stable means of income following the end of their reality TV show, The Hills.

Unlike other reality stars like Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian who are at least smart enough to invest their hard-earned cash from reality shows and endorsements on lucrative business ventures, Heidi and Spencer opted to spend and spend and spend without a thought for their future.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, Heidi candidly opened up about her life since her reality show ended, and how she and Spencer have been coping with losing most of their money. She said:

“I’ve really just taken these years since ‘The Hills’ and kind of been on my own journey… we both just kind of stepped back and have been able to reflect on who we’ve been, where we want to go and who want to be and what we want in our lives and it wasn’t the path we were going down. So we just kind of changed back to who we originally were.”

Aside from coming to terms with their surreal experience in the spotlight, the pair, who are now living in Spencer’s parents’ house to save on rent money, have also been learning how to live frugally. Heidi shared:

“A lot of our expenses are minimized.”

As for how much money she and Spencer have lost, Heidi admitted:

“I’ve never really counted, so I’m not sure [how much we lost]… Over a million or so.”

Most of their money, of course, went to Heidi’s infamous plastic surgery marathon in 2010, during which she spent almost a whole day in the doctor’s office getting 10 different plastic surgery procedures performed on her face and body.

Last year, in an interview with The Daily Beast, Heidi admitted that she regretted having all those surgeries done. She said:

“Obviously I wish I didn’t do it… I would go back and not have any surgery. It doesn’t help. I got too caught up in Hollywood, being so into myself and my image. I don’t regret anything, but if I could go back, I wouldn’t do it.”

As to why she spent all that money on vanity, Heidi explained:

“I thought I was investing in myself and my brand, like Kim Kardashian. When she buys these clothes, she’s investing in herself, because she is a big brand and is likable. I thought I had that potential. My ego got too big. To think I could be someone like that when I was the most hated girl ever.”

Well, at least she seems less delusional now.
