Heather Locklear is having a hard time these days. On Thursday night the actress was hospitalized for reportedly being “out of control” on drugs and alcohol. By Friday night, the actress was released to care of her family.

“Heather became a different person on drugs,” a source tells the show, adding that Locklear, who was spotted on Tuesday night at an L.A. Lakers game, may be heading into rehab shortly after her release.

Locklear’s rep hasn’t immediately commented on the actress’s condition, but this isn’t the first time 911 has been called on behalf of the actress.

“Heather is in bed all the time,” a source told PEOPLE at the time, “usually four days out of the week. Hung over, she lays in bed; she’s depressed, she just hangs out.”

But Locklear’s parents maintain their daughter is doing well.

“She is in no danger, and she’s going to be just fine,” Bill and Diane Locklear said in a statement issued by Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center on Friday.

Whatever problems Heather is going through, I hope she gets better soon – especially for her daughter’s sake.

The Colbert Report host, Stephen Colbert, is entering the South Carolina primaries – again. The TV report show host, attempted to get on a ballot in 2008 but it was unsuccessful and now he’s giving it another go.

Colbert, 47, is polling at 5 percent in his home state, ahead of longstanding candidate Jon Huntsman.

“I don’t know if I can put myself through that again,” he said on Thursday’s broadcast. “Clearly, it’s a tough decision. I would not want to be in my shoes … but I am.”

In terms of position, Colbert says he is situating himself as a “Mitt-ternative,” against Republican frontrunner Mitt Romney.

For a moment there, I thought Halle Berry was headed down the aisle again, but not so quickly, but according to sources close to Halle the actress is not engaged – yet.

a spokesperson for jewelry company Gurhan confirmed on Wednesday they had supplied the ring.

But a source close to the actress tells PEOPLE that Berry said just last week that she is not engaged – even after she was spotted wearing the new emerald and diamond ring.

Rumors have been also saying that the ring isn’t an engagement ring, but a promise ring from her boyfriend, Olivier Martinez.

American Pie star, Mena Suvari is moving on in life. The actress filed for divorce from her husband, concert producer, Simone Sestito, after just 18 months of marriage.

According to court papers obtained by PEOPLE, Suvari cited “irreconcilable differences” 
and asked that Sestito receive no spousal support. She indicated that the pair’s separation date was Nov. 1, 2011.

Suvari and Sestito married in June 2010 in Italy, holding a private church in the Vatican City in what the pair called a “romantic” wedding. The couple met at the Toronto Film Festival in 2007 and were engaged in 2008.

This is Mena’s second marriage and divorce. On the bright side, Mena stars in the new American Pie movie, which should be out soon.
