Apparently performing on millions of stages, large and small, across the world doesn’t get Madonna nervous but the Super Bowl does. The singer opened up about her anxiety preparing for the Super Bowl on Sunday (February 5).

Oh my god, I’m so nervous. You have no idea,” the superstar told Anderson Cooper in an interview to air on his talk show Thursday.

“First of all, it’s the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl is kind of like the holiest of holy in America,” Madonna, 53, said. “I’m going to come in halfway between the church experience and I’m going to have to deliver a sermon that’s going to have to be very impactful.”

She also put it this way: “I have to put on the greatest show on earth in the middle of the greatest show on earth.”

Maybe X Factor producers are realizing they are way too much like a copy of American Idol, because now even Paula Abdul got the ax from the hit show. Paula was asked to join the judges on X Factor by Simon Cowell but it seems now Simon and the producers decided to change a few things by eliminating Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones and now Paula.

Apparently Simon doesn’t love Paula that much because he hasn’t even contacted her since she was given her pink slip.
