The New Face of L’Oreal Anti-Aging: Julianne Moore

L’Oreal Paris has got itself a new face!

Julianne Moore has just been named as the makeup brand’s newest Global Brand Ambassador.  When 2013 starts, you’re gonna be seeing her face for the new product of the brand called Cellular Renaissance.

Well, her personal skin-care routine is really simple—oil, SPF, and a washcloth. However, she also adds that she loves L’Oreal products and buys them regularly! The Game Change star shared:

“I’m an actual user of the brand and it’s hard not to be. Every modern woman shops everywhere for beauty, but for me it’s mostly the airport or the drugstore. It’s nice to be promoting something that is accessible to everyone.”

Although she previously endorsed products for Revlon, Moore is now happy to be joining a group of A-List ambassadors which includes Gwen Stefani, Lea Michele, Beyonce, and Jennifer Lopez.

Lady Gaga: Adele is Bigger Than Me

Lady Gaga

We’ve warned you—never mess up with Lady Gaga!

The Mother Monster thinks that she’s being criticized unfairly for gaining weight and looking “fat.” The songstress did admit that she has been gaining weight during her interview in mid-September and since then, she began a “Body Revolution” wherein she encouraged her Little Monsters to focus on inner beauty and not obsess too much on the physical aspect. When she was interviewed by Stylist UK, she drew eyes upon another “curvy” singer: Adele. Gaga shared:

“I was acutely aware of some photos on the internet — my mom called me and was like, ‘Did you gain weight?’ — everybody was telling me about it, and I didn’t really care. I thought, well I don’t really care if they think I’m fat, because, quite honestly, I did gain about 30 pounds.”

She added:

“Adele is bigger than me — how come nobody says anything about it? She’s so wonderful and I think her confidence is something I have to match. She has set the bar very high for a lot of woman. I need to be a confident woman and just say politically active things when I can that are helpful to young people.”

The Grammy-winning songstress also mentioned that she thinks women should just encourage and support each other rather than being too critical.

“We should all make an effort to be nice to one another all the time.”

Well, it sure would be nice if we were nice to one another always!

Josh Duhamel As a Real-Life Zoolander

Well, it seems like Josh Duhamel is on that list of “guys who get better as they age.”

As his 40th birthday is quickly approaching, the actor spills about that his 30s were filled with a lot of accomplishments, both professionally and personally. Well, of course, because he married Fergie after four long years of dating!

“I learned a lot, that’s for sure. I’m a much better man at 40 than I was at 30.”

He also shared that he feels much better in terms of health though he’s aging.

“I feel healthier than I have in 15 years. I’ve been taking good care of myself. Maybe I’m trying to avoid the inevitable. It’s a state of mind, and I feel good. I feel younger than 40 that’s for sure.”

As he is approaching his 40s, he can’t just forget his 20s. Although the world didn’t know of him yet, he was a prominent face in male modeling. As a matter of fact, he beat Ashton Kutcher at the 1997 Male Model of the Year contest. Kutcher, who went by the name Chris at that time, fell in second after Duhamel. Josh recalled:

“We joke about that all the time. When I see him, we always have a good laugh about it. We were so into it. We thought we were so cool. It was like a real-life ‘Zoolander.’ We went two different ways. He like immediately shot to stardom after: he did a big Calvin Klein campaign and ‘That ’70s Show,’ and I struggled for a number of years. But now we laugh about it. It’s funny . . .  Every time I see him, it’s great. It’s not nearly as competitive as it was when we were battling on the runway. I’m actually really happy for him and all his success.”

So, happy birthday, Josh!

Chelsea Handler: We’re Back Together!

Seems like love is sweeter the second time around!

After the long distance between them tore them apart, Chelsea Handler happily announces that she’s back in Andre Balazs’ arms.

The 37-year-old L.A.-based comedienne and the 55-year-old New York-based  hotelier were seen together in numerous LA. hotspots lately, including Balazs’ Chateau Marmont. The two have broken up twice already, the latest one happening just this August.

To prove their on-again romance, the happy couple packed on the PDA while having lunch at The Deck Restaurant in Laguna Beach. According to witnesses:

“They were kissing a lot, and were very lovey-dovey. They seemed very relaxed.”

At one point, Handler was spotted taking her dog for a quick walk down the beach before rejoining her love to toast on a couple more drinks.

The two first split in November of 2011 after less than one year together. Following this, the two united again in February. Two months later, she shared to More magazine about rekindling their romance, revealing about the things she learned in order to make long-distance relationships work.

“My boyfriend, Andre . . . we just got back together literally yesterday. We had dated for nine months, a long-distance relationship with all the stresses and traveling and running around. It wasn’t a real life; we weren’t living together. So, Andre came to me yesterday and said, ‘I think we have to try to make this work again.  And I agreed because we’re still madly in love.”
