John Travolta Mourns Death of Bee Gees Star Robin Gibb

Controversial Hollywood veteran John Travolta expressed sadness over the recent death of his good friend, Robin Gibb, a member of the famous singing group, the Bee Gees.

Travolta said Gibb was a wonderful friend to him through the years. The actor and Gibb became friends when the Bee Gees composed the soundtrack for the 1977 blockbuster movie, Saturday Night Fever.

Saturday Night Fever is the film that launched John Travolta’s acting career. The actor is currently at the center of a controversy in the wake of a sexual assault allegation made against him. The death of Gibb is a huge loss to the music industry.

Rising British singer Tulisa was recently declared FHM magazine’s Sexiest Woman in the World for 2012.

Tulisa, who also happens to be one of the London X-Factor judges, topped the voting survey for Sexiest Woman in the World that was conducted by FHM magazine. During a recent concert performance, the 23-year-old Brit showed off the curves that put her at the top of the list.

Sporting a turquoise bandage dress with a low neckline, Tulisa looked very gorgeous and sexy in her attire. The singer is very happy with her selection as the Sexiest Woman in the World for 2012. She hopes her recent FHM recognition will make her even more popular around the world.

The Avengers Rules Weekend Box Office Race Again

The superhero movie, The Avengers, continues to rake in money for its producers.

For the third week in a row, the Disney-produced movie won the weekend box office race, earning another $55.6 million last weekend. Adding to the movie’s already huge earnings, this total brings the movie’s domestic grand total to a whopping $457.7 million. Worldwide ticket sales have climbed to nearly $1.2 billion.

Taking the second spot in the weekend race was Battleship with $25.5 million, and third place went to Sacha Baron Cohen’s comedy, The Dictator, with $17.4 million. The ensemble pregnancy tale, What to Expect When You’re Expecting, snagged fourth place with a respectable $10.5 million.

Ready to capitalize on its box office success, Disney is set to release The Avengers 2 in 2014.

Adele is Biggest Winner at Billboard Music Awards With 12 Gongs

British singing superstar Adele was the clear winner at the recently concluded Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.

Adele won 12 awards at the prestigious event, including Best Female Artist of the Year. Despite her numerous nominations, Adele did not attend the event that was graced by some of the top stars in the music industry.

LMFAO was the second biggest winner at the event, taking home an impressive six awards. Other winners included Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Katy Perry.

Just wondering what could have driven the biggest winner of the night, Adele, to skip the Billboard Music Awards.

R&B superstar Jay-Z is in love and proud of being a father to his baby daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

Jay-Z revealed he is hooked on spending time with his little angel instead of making music. He said at first he thought the birth of his daughter would inspire him, but it isn’t working out that way, as he is spending his time bonding with her instead of writing songs.

The hugely popular star said being a father is such a wonderful experience in his life. Now he hopes to regain his desire to compose new songs for his countless fans around the world. Jay-Z is on cloud nine these days because of his newborn baby and his happy marriage to singer/actress Beyonce.
