Miley Cyrus Goes for Healthy Living with New Bike

With the goal of a healthier lifestyle, American singer/actress Miley Cyrus recently purchased a $2,000 Pedego electric bike.

Of course, traditional bikes offer more health benefits than electric ones, but any bike at all is a start. Cyrus was recently spotted riding her new bike around Los Angeles. The Hannah Montana star reportedly rode to a local coffee shop on her new bike.

The former Disney star wore a sleeveless shirt, shorts, and a pair of designer Chanel espadrilles as she biked in L.A. The young star is currently shooting a new comedy film, So Undercover, which is set to be released in June.

Cyrus is currently dating one of the stars of The Hunger Games, Liam Hemsworth, who is also an advocate of healthy living.

Christian Bale Got Dumped by Drew Barrymore

He might be one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, but that didn’t prevent Batman star Christian Bale from getting dumped by A-list actress Drew Barrymore.

In a recent interview with GQ magazine in Australia, Bale revealed that he was really sad when Barrymore dumped him years ago when they were still teenagers. Bale, 38, admitted he had been disappointed when Barrymore did not call him again after their first date, during which they watched a horror movie together.

This all took place 20 years ago, and Bale has been happily married to his wife, Sandra “Sibi” Blazic, since 2000. The couple also has a seven-year-old daughter together. Barrymore is currently pregnant and set to marry her boyfriend soon.

Another Puppy Gets Love from Miranda Lambert

Singing superstar Miranda Lambert recently gave new hope and love to a homeless puppy.

Lambert rescued a tan and white puppy and named her Emmy Lou. According to reports, this particular rescued puppy is the 21st dog rescued by the famous singer since she started giving new life to distressed animals. Aside from dogs, the 28-year-old Texan has also rescued a number of cats and horses. The country singer tweeted that she decided to rescue the animal because it desperately needed help from someone like her.

Since winning the prestigious Album of the Year award for Revolution at the Country Music Awards in late 2010, Lambert is considered one of the top country singers today.  She is married to another country music superstar, Blake Shelton, who is also one of the judges and mentors on the reality singing competition, The Voice.

Men in Black 3 Takes Weekend Box Office from Avengers with $55M

The three-week reign of the superhero movie, The Avengers, as the top movie at the box office in North America is now officially over.

According to reports, Men in Black 3 eclipsed The Avengers as the top grossing movie last weekend in the United States and Canada. Men in Black 3 earned a whopping $55 million over the holiday weekend, overcoming Disney’s The Avengers, which earned $37 million during the same period.

Despite losing the top spot, The Avengers still managed to rank second in the tight race. Men in Black 3 stars Hollywood superstars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. Taking the third spot in the race was Universal’s Battleship with $10.8 million.

Former X-Factor Judge Cheryl Cole Eyed as American Idol Judge

Former U. S. X Factor judge, though only for a very short time, Cheryl Cole is rumored to be one of the next judges for American Idol.

Sources said the producers of American Idol offered Cole millions to become the newest judge of the hit singing competition. The American Idol producers reportedly made the move in anticipation of American singer/actress Jennifer Lopez’s possible decision to leave the show.

Lopez earlier hinted that she may leave the show because of her hectic schedule. In an interview, Cole has already denied reports that American Idol producers have offered her a contract to become the newest judge of the show. Cole’s X Factor stint was cut short after only four episodes when the show’s producer, Simon Cowell, fired her from the hit television show.
