Britney Reportedly Signed with X-Factor

The X Factor head honcho Simon Cowell may finally get his wish granted, and Britney Spears could sit beside him in a judge’s chair.

The show’s producers reportedly coughed up a fortune to sign Britney. Rumor has it the star will receive a whopping $15 million for judging, significantly more than previous judges, Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, were paid.

Inside sources claim it is a “virtual certainty” that Britney, along with her conservators, lawyers, and the judge who oversees her financial affairs, will sign the contract.

Simon Cowell has been very vocal about wanting Britney as a judge for the show, and it looks like he may have nailed it for $15 million!

Mariah Carey’s Sexy Body in SHAPE Cover

“Butterfly” singer Mariah Carey gave birth to twins in April last year, and she has devoted some time since then to shedding those pregnancy pounds.

The 42-year-old mother has lost more than 30 pounds since giving birth to her twins, Moroccan and Monroe. She credits her weight loss to the Jenny Craig diet, the well-known weight loss plan that she currently endorses.

The weight loss program definitely seems to have worked well for the shapely star.  Mariah flaunts her newly-regained sexy form on the upcoming May cover of SHAPE magazine. The cover features Mariah wearing a white bikini bottom and striped crop top, and the pose is definitely sexy.

Judging by the magazine cover photo, the star has gotten excellent results.

Pretty sure Mariah is thrilled with her weight loss!

Words from Stars and the President on Dick Clark’s Passing

Famed TV host and producer, Dick Clark suffered a massive heart attack at age 82 and passed away on Wednesday. The attack came following an outpatient procedure at St. John’s hospital. Efforts to resuscitate the star were unsuccessful.

Celebrities all over the world were saddened by the news. American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, tweeted, ”I am deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend Dick Clark. He has truly been one of the greatest influences in my life.”

Paula Shugart, the president of the Miss Universe Pageant, said the TV legend, “gave me my first break in TV. His death is hitting all of us hard.”

President Barrack Obama lamented, “[Clark] reshaped the television landscape forever as a creative and innovative producer and, of course, for 40 years, we welcomed him into our homes to ring in the New Year.”   

The man gave a lot to the TV industry and won numerous awards for his work. He will be missed.

RIP Dick Clark.

Mel Gibson on a New Rant Tape

It seems that the “Braveheart” star Mel Gibson can’t just have enough of recorded rants that borders to being mad. Just when everyone thought that they already heard the last of the actor’s violent outrage, another recorded meltdown will surface to besmirch the actor’s efforts to get away from all of it.

Mel Gibson was once again the person behind the rage recorded on tape on his last trip to Costa Rica last December.

It has all the explicit words that have now become synonymous to the actor’s outbursts.

The tape this time was from Joe Eszterhas which was recorded his son who was present during a confrontation with Mel.

In the tape I can be heard Mel Gibson blasting the writer saying, “Why don’t I have a first draft of “The Maccabees?” What the f**k have you been doing?”

Caught in the recording where a somewhat a house trashing and Mel hurling obscenities to his ex-baby mama Oksana shouting, “I am earning money for a filthy little c**ksucker who takes advantage of me.” 

All throughout the actor can be heard hurling, “f**king c**t, c**ksucker whore.”

It is safe to say that after everything Mel Gibson went through to curb his anger, he still got lots of it inside him.

Tom Petty’s Stolen Guitars Recovered

It was reported that when Tom Petty and The Hearbreakers was working in a studio rehearsing some songs, 5 of their vintage guitars worth thousands of dollars each was stolen.

The guitars are the 1967 12-string Rickenbacker, Gibson SG TV Junior, Fender Broadcaster, 1967 Epiphone Sheridan, and a  Dusenberg.

The timing of the guitar theft came at a very inconvenient time since Tom and The Heartbreakers will soon be starting his tour. It was bad enough that the band went on scrambling to replace the exact stolen guitars that they were going to use in the concert tours.

Luckily for the band, it was quickly recovered by the law enforcement and as of this writing all the valuable guitars are going to be safely returned to them.

The Culver City Police Department has arrested one man in connection to the theft of the instruments and the band’s show will definitely go on!
