Ashton Kutcher’s “Jobs” to be Released in April

Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs

As one of Hollywood’s most underrated actors, Ashton Kutcher should feel a bit better now as his portrayal of Apple founder, Steve Jobs, in his upcoming movie “jOBS” begins to catch attention and gets positive response. His co-star, Josh Gad, who plays Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, praised Kutcher’s performance.

“I think it’s going to be pretty wonderful. Ashton is going to blow a lot of people away. His performance was absolutely transformational. If he looked any more like Steve Jobs, I think it would just confuse a lot of people in thinking Steve Jobs never passed away. It’s that uncanny.”

Gad even thinks Kutcher has his own appreciation of Steve Jobs, which enables him to make the illusion of Jobs being “real.”

“He really immersed himself. I think he has an appreciation for Steve Jobs, the likes of which I’ve never seen in any actor who’s portrayal a real, living person. Ashton is one of the most giving actors I’ve ever worked with. I was surprised by his work every day.”

The biopic is said to be released in April, however the date is still to be confirmed. Will you watch Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs?

Pink Sued for $36,000 Royalties

The 40th Anniversary American Music Awards

Looks like Pink has been a little bit busy that she ‘forgot’ to pay her producers who helped out in her debut album Can’t Take Me Home, which was released way back in 2000. The singer is accused to have not paid royalty payments to Specialists Entertainment and Thunderstone Productions.

The producers helped Pink produce two songs: “Hiccup” and “Can’t Take Me Home” from the album, which was launched by LaFace and Arista Records but now owned by Sony Music Entertainment. Pink allegedly owes both producers $36,000.

However, E! News reported that Sony has actually paid Thunderstone the amount of $36,371 per April 2004. However, due to a clerical error, it accidentally sent Thunderstone the other producer’s share of the royalties which made the label overpaid by $41,088 that should have been Specialists’ share of the payment. As a result, Sony was withholding further payments to Thunderstone until the full overpayment has been recovered.

Okay, that sounds like a huge mess. We’ll see how this one develops.

Pink’s rep has yet to comment on the lawsuit as well as Thunderstone and Specialists’.

Justin Bieber Calls For Action Upon Tragic Death of Paparazzo

Q102's Jingleball 2012 Philadelphia

A paparazzi was killed in an accident Tuesday night, as he was taking pictures of a Ferrari registered to pop sensation Justin Bieber. The photographer, Chris Guerra, was struck by a car driven by a 69-year old woman whose identity has been withheld, after ignoring the warning of authorities to be careful. Ironically, Justin Bieber wasn’t even in the said Ferrari.

Following the incident, Bieber released a statement via Island Def Jam Music Group:

“Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves.”

The driver of the car that struck the paparazzi isn’t likely to be charged as she is seen not to be at fault. The CHP officer had warned the photographer who was standing by the low freeway railing to take pictures of the Ferrari before the accident happened.

How sad.

Hugh Hefner Marries Crystal Harris

2011 Playboy Playmate Party

Playboy mogul, Hugh Hefner married longtime girlfriend, Crystal Harris (26) in an intimate ceremony at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve. The 86 year-old Playboy head honcho finally married Harris after the ‘Runaway Bride’ incident where Harris called off their wedding just days before the ceremony back in June 2011 after being engaged since 2010.

Among the guests were celebrities, including Gene Simmons, playmate Tiffany Fallon, Rascal Flatts’ Joe Don Rooney and many more. The bride looked stunning with a silk organza mermaid-cut bridal gown designed by Romona Keveza, and the party was set in an art-deco nightclub style.

This is Hugh Hefner’s third marriage after his first wife, Mildred Williams, in 1949 and Kimberley Conrad in 1989. We’ve been biting our tongue but can’t help it anymore to ask you this: How long do you think this one would last?

Justin Bieber’s New Tattoo: Hot or Not?

Screen Shot 2013-01-02 at 2.31.36 PM

What do you do if you’re young, hot and have tons of money? Sex, drugs and rock and roll seem like things of the past. Now the thing is to get inked. Check Justin Bieber’s hot tattoos and the most recent one he got to welcome the new year. Back in March, Bieber got the ‘praying hands’ symbol and he posted a photo on his private Instagram account to show off the follow-up of that tattoo: a new rose tattoo which is placed beneath the praying hands.

Aside from the ‘praying hands’ and the rose, Bieber has also showed off his other tattoos. Back in January, Bieber got a visage of Jesus on his left calf, which we think prompted him to get the ‘praying hands’ shortly afterwards. He also has an owl on his left arm, “Believe” on the same location, a Japanese Kanji symbol for music on his right arm, a crown he showed off proudly on his chest, a bird on his hip and the Hebrew word for “Jesus” on his ribcage.

Okay, if you’ve been a Belieber, what do you think about Bieber’s growing love for tattoos? Do you think he should stop now before he gets too much, do you think he should’ve never gotten any tattoos, OR do you think he needs to get more cool inks?
