New year, new baby!
Camila Alves, Matthew McConaughey’s wife, has given birth to a baby girl in Texas. This is the couple’s third child. Their two older children are 4-year-old Levi and 3-year-old Vida.
The actor has been working on his latest film, The Dallas Buyers Club, a project that required him to lose a considerable amount of weight to the extent of ‘emaciated.’ That’s what we call hard work and dedication! According to TMZ, he was present when his wife gave birth in a Texas hospital.
Matthew and Camila have been together since 2006. They were married in 2012. Apparently, the couple’s older children were very excited when they learned they were having a new sibling. Matthew had shared to People:
When Camila and I told them the news there was a lot of dancing and a lot of singing…One of them wants a brother, the other one wants a sister and then they switch the next day.
We bet there’s singing and dancing in the McConaughey household now over the new bundle of joy!
