I guess anyone who loves rhythm & blues or soul must love Stevie Wonder.
At Z100′s Jinge Ball last Friday in New York, Ne-Yo remarked that Stevie Wonder is someone he looks up to. He may have won three Grammys and has been nominated for a fourth, but Ne-Yo feels that he still has a long way to go if you compare his accomplishments to what singers like Stevie Wonder have already achieved. The So Sick singer said:
“I’ve won three Grammys and am nominated for a fourth. My peers, people like Stevie Wonder, have Grammys in double digits. So I still have work to do. It feels fantastic. It’s truly something you never get used to.”
We agree. Stevie Wonder is an amazing singer. He has inspired and continues to inspire a lot of musicians and non-musicians alike with this talent. And he has countless awards already under his belt.
A talented singer in his own way, a fedora-wearing Ne-Yo performed before a huge audience at the Madison Square Garden, singing Give Me Everything and his single Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself).
Showing off some great moves, Ne-Yo proves to us once again that when swag and smooth singing go together, somebody swoons.
