Talent is in her genes.
Francesca Eastwood, Clint Eastwood’s 19-year-old daughter, has been chosen as Miss Golden Globe 2013 by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association on Thursday. She succeeds Andie MacDowell’s daughter, Rainey Qualley, who was last year’s honoree.
The Miss Golden Globe title is given to children of well-known celebrities. The distinction includes an opportunity to assist on stage during the annual Golden Globes.
HFPA President Dr. Aida Takla-O’Reilly said:
“Francesca comes from a very talented family and we are delighted to have her be our Miss Golden Globe. She is a budding actress and is a great addition as we celebrate the show’s 70th anniversary!”
Francesca will assist during the 70th Golden Globe Awards, which will be held on January 13 and hosted by funny duo Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.
