One thing’s for sure: she ain’t focusing on weight loss anymore!
Jennifer Hudson revealed that, after two years and 80 pounds lost; she is over and done with shedding off more weight. She also wants the world to stop telling her to be too skinny! The Academy Award winner has weighed down from a size 16 to a size SIX ever since she teamed up with Weight Watcher in 2010. Although she can get thinner, she says she’s happy with her new weight right now. During her interview with Redbook, the 31-year-old shares:
“I’m at the weight I want to be.”
She continues:
“But I hear all the time, “Don’t lose any more weight, you need to stop.” People are under the impression that I’m still losing but I’m not.”
Dressing up for the coming holidays, Jennifer wore a long-sleeved, elegant white and silver mini dress, partnered with peep-toe heels and green drop earrings. It’s obvious she’s happy with her new body.
“I’m getting used to my new self more than anything else. I got used to being plus-sized and knowing how to be that, whereas this is like, “Okay, who am I?” I keep thinking that I probably need an extra-large or a large and the stylist is like, “No, you need a medium or a small.”
Well, this seems like a shout out to all women out there. It’s not impossible to lose weight!
