Ben and Jen are friendly exes!
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, or “Bennifer,” as the media liked to call them, were once the hottest couple in Hollywood. At one point they were even engaged to be married, but eventually ended up ending their romance due to the pressures brought on by the intense attention and scrutiny their relationship was getting in the media.
After their breakup, Ben began dating (and eventually married) his “Daredevil” co-star Jennifer Garner. Jennifer, meanwhile, got back together with former flame Marc Anthony, whom she also married and, very recently, separated from.
Still, ten years and five children later—three for Ben and two for Jennifer—the former lovers are still good friends.

Affleck, who covers the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter, admits that he and Lopez have remained in touch with each other after all these years. He shares:
“We don’t have the kind of relationship where she relies on me for advice… but we do have the kind of relationship where there’ll be an e-mail saying, ‘Oh, your movie looks great.’”
The “Argo” actor adds:
“I remember when she got American Idol… I said: ‘This was really smart. Good luck.’ I touch base. I respect her. I like her. She’s put up with some stuff that was unfair in her life, and I’m really pleased to see her successful.”
Isn’t that mature of him?
