Apparently, this summer is the summer of split-ups and breakups.
Following the latest announcement of Tom and Katie’s divorce, Vera Wang and her husband, Arthur Becker, announced their split-up. A rep of Wang states,
“Vera Wang and Arthur Becker have mutually and amicably agreed to separate. They remain devoted parents to their two daughters.”
The couple announced their separation just two weeks short of their 23rd wedding anniversary. Wang, 63, and her husband have two daughters together: Cecillia, 22, and Josephine, 19.
Although the two are now separated, Wang’s rep added that the two have yet to file for divorce, and the long-time pair has only separated, for now. However, another source says that the two have called it quits since last year.
“Vera and her husband were all but done last year. In fact, Vera attended [Kim] Kardashian‘s wedding with Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek as her date.”
Vera Wang is a very famous fashion designer, and she and Becker got married in 1989 in an interfaith ceremony in New York.
