People have known about Jessica Simpson’s clothing line for a while now, and it’s been reported the line is now following the owner into mommyhood by expanding into maternity clothes. Just weeks after giving birth to her first child, Maxwell Drew, the singer/designer is partnering up with Destination Maternity to design and distribute a maternity line for the Jessica Simpson brand.
Simpson is excited about her upcoming line and told WWD:
“I’m [pleased] to partner with Destination Maternity to design a collection of fashionable styles that make you look and feel great. You want to wear clothes that are flattering to your baby bump; you want to show your bump off.”

The line consists of stylish maternity tops, leggings, dresses, jackets, and sweaters. Like all the clothes she’s designed before, this line will probably be a hit among pregnant women, especially at mid to low price points of $32 to $79. Chris Daniel, CEO of Destination Maternity, told WWD:
“It was a natural for us. She’s very well known for style and fashion and the great work she’s been doing growing her brand with the Camuto Group.”
So what do you think about Jessica Simpson’s upcoming maternity line? Would you buy items from it?
