Well, surprise, surprise. Nadya Suleman, a.k.a. Octomom, is finally coming clean about her feelings on being a mother. She told British tabloid The Sun that she is not a maternal person. Cue the dropping of the jaw. Or not.
Suleman. who got her octuplets via IVF treatments, gave the following statement to The Sun:
“If I knew then what I know now, they wouldn’t be here. What was I thinking? I’m not a maternal person. It’s hard for me to be attached to anyone, which is why I’ve been celibate for 13 years. I’m asexual and have no desires at all. So all that energy goes on the kids.”
And she doesn’t only have the eight kids from her latest pregnancy. Prior to giving birth to the octuplets, Suleman had already had six other children, all courtesy of IVF. After her recent remarks, it certainly does not surprise me that TMZ reported yesterday that Suleman has filed for bankruptcy and claims she has neglected her kids.
So what’s your take on this? I say she needs psychological help.
