
Hollywood superstar actor George Clooney is now released from jail after he posted $100 fine after he was arrested for protesting outside the Sudanese Embassy in Washington.
Clooney, 50 and his father Nick were earlier arrested for trespassing and civil disobedience when they cross a police line outside the embassy despite three warnings.
The actor is happy with his release and hoped it would be would be the last.
The actor also hoped her arrest help in the cause of the Sudanese civilians especially the children.
Clooney, his father and some other people conducted the protest to call on the Sudanese government to help its starving people.
The actor said a humanitarian crisis is currently ongoing in Sudan because of the government’s failure to provide food and security to its people.
He hoped his arrest would compel Sudanese officials to do something to address the humanitarian crisis currently ongoing in Sudan.
