The producers and celebrity voices of The Lorax are one happy souls these days.
This developed after the animated movie The Lorax retains its position as the top grossing film in North America last week.
According to reports, the Lorax earned $38.8 million to defeat the sci-fi newcomer “John Carter” in the box office race.
John Carter which was created through a $250 million budget from Disney also managed to earn $30.2 million to land in the second spot of the prestigious list.
John Carter is taken from Edgar Rice Burroughs’ tales of the Mars adventurer.
It was learned that although John Carter failed to topple Lorax on the box office race, the film earned big on its international release with $70 million.
The Lorax producers for its thank all the moviegoers who watched the film and hoped more people will watch the film on its third week in North American cinemas.
