It has been rumored before this birthday tweet among the two that they are communicating through twitter through various well timed tweets before which drove celebrity watchers to speculate that the two might be communicating on twitter.

If you recall, Chris Brown had been ruled not to go near Rihanna or contact her after the incident where he assaulted the singer and there has been a lot of instances that the two were reported to be friendly or intimate. Case in point, Rihanna’s party last week.

However, this time Chris Brown finally tweeted clearly to Rihanna wishing the birthday girl greetings, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBYN!”

Not long after Chris’ tweet that Riri tweeted back saying, “Thanks!”

The reconciliation of these two exes had happened way before but they are just careful enough not to put a show too much for fear of the backlash they will receive because unlike Rihanna, many simply can’t forget what happened three years ago.
