Jenny McCarthy is best known for being hot – and it turns out she will finally be getting her own show after being on MTV’s “Singled Out” back in 1997.

VH1 has picked up a talk show with the funny lady to air this summer.

The network announced today that it will launch The Jenny McCarthy Show, and she will “celebrate as well as skewer everyone and everything in pop culture, news, fashion, TV, movies and the Web.”

“Our viewers connect with smart, funny, and outspoken women, and Jenny certainly represents all of those elements wrapped up in a style that makes people smile,” Jeff Olde, executive vice president of original programming and production, said in a statement.

True – but she represents all those elements while being hot is what he really meant. I’ll hand it to her, she has managed to parlay being on one crappy show 15 years ago into an actual career. That’s even more impressive than Kim Kardashian.
