Looks like Kris Jenner’s antics have cost the Kardashians yet another business deal, this time it was with American Media Inc. (the company that owns Star and The National Enquirer) where they were planning to release a Kardashian-based tabloid magazine. Oops!
Sources say that mama Jenner tried to play hardball with the publishers, demanding that she get full editorial approval when it comes to Kardashian-related content in any and all of the magazines the company publishes.
“AMI chief David Pecker made it clear that there was no way he was going to tell his editors what stories they could and couldn’t do,” a source explained, adding that the company “balked” at her stipulation. Perhaps in response, Star magazine recently published a cover story claiming that the late Robert Kardashian is not Khloe’s biological father.
In addition to blowing that deal, Mama K also botched (thankfully) a deal to make Kardashian barbies.
According to previous reports, the ladies had been in talks with Mattel to work on their own Kardashian-themed Barbie dolls. It seems, however, that those plans have also been shelved.
Who is this lady? I mean seriously – it’s like a chick-version of Gene Simmons. Just trying to prostitute every single aspect of your being into making money. I’m glad the barbies went down, because that would be sickening to have a little kid growing up with a Kim barbie!
