So you think Hugh Hefner is still waiting for ‘the one’? Think again. The Playboy mogul entered 2012 with an announcement that he will never get married. Hefner told People magazine:

“This year has been a very interesting year for me, I almost got married,” he told People. “And as Holly (Madison) – a dear friend and former girlfriend – said, ‘Well, you missed a bullet.’ I think that’s accurate. I am clearly not meant to be married. Married life isn’t for me.”

Hefner almost got married in 2011 with ex-fiance Crystal Harris.

But don’t think that he’s never been a married guy. In 1949 he married his college sweetheart, Mildred Williams and then in 1989 he married Playmate of the Year Kimberley Conrad.

Well, George Clooney can calm down now. At least he’ll have a bachelor friend for the time being.
