Steven Spielberg Considering a 3D Version of Jurrasic Park

Finally somebody OTHER than James Cameron who’s doing things in 3D! Welcoming Steven Spielberg into the craze, as he said he’s finally sold on the idea and is thinking about converting the first Jurrasic Park to try things out.

“I’ve always said Jurassic Park the first one, would be really good post-converted in 3D. I think James Cameron has done the greatest 3D in history with Avatar: I don’t think anything has surpassed James Cameron’s Avatar in terms of the 3-D experience, beyond the fact I love the movie so much, and so I figure that James is going to teach all of us a lesson how to post-convert. If we follow his precepts, more films will be post-converted, but the only movie I’m interested in post-converting is the first Jurassic.”

Don’t worry folks, Jurrasic 4 is still on schedule, however it’s not going to be in 3D. So what do you think, should Spielberg go ahead and do the 3D thing to all his upcoming movies, or should he just stop at Jurrasic?
