One of the most highly-anticipated movies of the year “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” will open one day early (December 20, 2011) at 7pm. Jeff Blake, chairman of Worldwide Marketing and Distribution for Sony Pictures announced yesterday.

Blake stated:

“This is one of the busiest times of the year for moviegoing and we can’t wait to share this outstanding thriller with audiences all over the world. We feel that by opening for night-time shows on December 20th, fans of the book will be given the perfect opportunity to get a jump start on the release of an exceptional film.”

I could feel my heart jumping with joy. Can’t wait!
