And The Alec Baldwin Drama Continues…

I seriously thought Alec Baldwin’s take on his case vs American Airlines on SNL will end with everybody laughing. Turns out that American Airlines got no sense of humor at all, especially the flight attendants.

The Association of Professional Flight Attendants requested that the airline remove Baldwin’s 30 Rock show from all flights after the actor’s incident at the LAX International airport. As you might remember, Baldwin was removed from the flight because he refused to turn off his cell phone after after the plane’s doors closed. Sources say Baldwin threw an ‘attitude’ towards a flight attendant, while Baldwin said he was merely playing “Words With Friends”.

Spokesman of The Association of Professional Flight Attendants, Jeff Pharr said:

“We fully support the flight attendants and the way they handled the situation. The crew responded as they have been thoroughly trained to do so by the FAA as safety professionals onboard the aircraft.”

Pharr also added that the union would retract the petition if Baldwin issued an apology to the attendants.

But is the petition working?

Airline spokesman Tim Smith said “30 Rock” is still airing on some American Airline flights, still in accordance with the standard programming procedures.

Will Baldwin or NBC react to this? I don’t know about NBC, but I am almost sure Baldwin won’t.
