This would never happen to Jack Donaghy, Alec Baldwin’s alter ego. The 30 Rock actor was dismissed from an American Airlines flight on Tuesday for playing a mobile game. Baldwin tweeted about the incident:

“Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving.”

Baldwin’s dismissal was also documented by another passenger, Michael J. Wolf on Twitter:

“On an AA flight at LAX. Alec Baldwin removed from the plane. We had to go back to the gate. Terrible that everyone had to wait.”

And just as any celebrity should do in situations like this, Baldwin tried to saved face by tweeting that his next flight had “smarter”-looking flight attendants.

As far as I know, the “smarter” flight attendants are those who forbid any mobile devices to be on during a flight, but Hollywood doesn’t always see eye-to-eye with us mortals, so there.
