Kris Humphries’s family pastor, who married Kim and Kris in their crazy, over-the-top wedding, finally spoke out expressing his suddenness at the news that Kim filed for divorce.
According to the pastor, the wedding was very real and legal and he expects Kim to honor her covenant of marriage. Yes, Kim knows the meaning of honoring something? ha.
“I’m sad to hear this,” Pastor Joel tells HollywoodLife.com. “Why would Kim do this? I would love to connect with Kim and try to pull the reigns back and redirect this energy in a more redemptive way.”
“I asked for a meeting with Kim and Kris beforehand and we covered what we could in that one meeting,” he told HollywoodLife.com. “I asked if they had gone through premarital counseling and they had not because of their circumstances but they agreed to post marriage counseling. I was very impressed with Kim in that.”
I find it funny how celebrities end marriages at the first sign of problems and it’s easy, you sign a pre-nup and move on to the next sucker who boosts up your publicity. If the rest of us lived like that, we’d all be divorced.
