Looks like the Jersey Shore cast has a few problems with Abercrombie & Fitch.

Mike “The Situation” tweeted:
“Looks like Abercrombie got themself into a Situation!”

Pauly D added:
“Hmmm if They Don’t Want Us To Wear Those Clothes Why Make GTL Shirts #yourPRsux”.

Vinny also had something to say: “#lasttimeIworeabercrombie there were still stores in NY to buy it at.”

This all started when Abercrombie & Fitch issued a statement on their website stating:

“We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino’s association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image. We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans. We have therefore offered a substantial payment to Michael ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and the producers of MTV’s The Jersey Shore to have the character wear an alternate brand. We have also extended this offer to other members of the cast, and are urgently waiting a response.”

But according to source close to MTV, no such offer was ever made by the company and as of this morning, Abercrombie & Fitch stocks took a bit of a hit.

I think there is definitely a Situation here.
