LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were engaged over the holidays! A rep for Rimes says the couple is “very happy.” Cibrian proposed with a 5-carat oval diamond ring he and Rimes designed together with Brent Polacheck of Polacheck Jewelers.

“The couple wanted an antique feel, but a new ring,” adds the insider.

Rimes and Cibrian met while filming the Lifetime movie Northern Lights. After news of their affair broke in mid 2009, both Rimes and Cibrian filed for divorce from their spouses. Rimes’ divorce from Dean Sheremet was finalized in June of this year while Cibrian’s divorce from Brandi Glanville was finalized in September.
